Just got home and my sons wife lost her baby Josie at 31 weeks. We are at a loss for words. His wife did not think she would be able to get pregnant or she was told as she continues a thyroid cancer battle and everything was going really well. A little VN prayer or a thought today for that little girl and the family if a moment.

Prayers for your family, especially son and DiL. May the Lord be your all’s shelter and comfort right now.

I think they will keep looking but they want some new ones for spring to get rolling.

Any OL that we would lean on NEEDS a great spring to get the timing and chemistry down especially in this offense. Not saying it can't be done in a fall camp, but it's not ideal. I'd have to assume this staff would want to get this OL set now. Might not have a choice, but if we miss out now, I wonder what the OL portal pool will look like after spring ball? Can't imagine it being full of quality options at OL. On the bright side, no one can accuse Heupel of tampering. Pretty clear who the master of that universe is. We got us a good dude as the head coach....dammit.

PFF sucks and Lampley was pretty average. He is a depth piece and not a starter in the SEC. We need all three portal players and the coaches will take two more OT’s on top of the Kansas transfer because that’s where our offensive line is at right now. Hopefully, next year we have built some depth with the young linemen and aren’t scrambling every year for linemen from the portal.

i watched the game but didn’t watch the line closely….How did Umarov do in the bowl game…. we need some of these younger guys to at least be solid back ups.

Words do no justice to the pain that your family is feeling. When awful things like this happen, we so often search for a reason but what reason could there possibly be for something like this. Please know that my prayers, and I know the prayers of many here, are with you and your family as your walk through the grief of this terrible tragedy. I truly believe that our Heavenly Father, our Redeemer, our Creator can use all things, even something like this that seems to have no meaning or understanding, for good. I pray that you and your family will be comforted in your time of grief and that others will rally around you to offer you and your family their strength and their compassion.

Regarding the OL visits this weekend. Getting one is the absolute minimum, IMO, and we still have questions about needs being met. Getting two would be very good with needs likely met. Getting 3 obviously, would be a home run, with needs almost definitely met. Unfortunately, I think we only get one, but I still have faith in the staff to have a plan for all four potential scenarios.
