1,920 yards over 17 games is just under 113 total rushing yards per game as a team. That includes rushing yards by Dak and their wide receivers. Pollard and Dowdell, their #1 and #2 running backs have a total of 1,366 of those rushing yards (only 80.4 yards per game total between them) and 8 total rushing TD's between them (less than 1/2 a rushing TD per game). The Cowboys are pass happy.
The total numbers don’t necessary correlate to being pass happy. Actually taking passing plays divided by total plays does. They didn’t get good production from Pollard this year. He averaged 4 YPC after averaging 5.2 and 5.5 the years before. I guess 12 other teams were more pass happy this year, and 23! other teams were last year.

Could be wrong, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Titans hired Arthur Smith. Based on timing of everything…

Flip the tackles IMO

I understand that Heard would provide depth regardless, but are we confident he can come in and play at a high level?

I get that he was highly rated out of high school, but playing at a high level in the SEC is a big step (especially when learning a new offensive/playing within a new line).

He played in 12 games this year at LSU as a true freshman. LSU has both tackles coming back, so he wanted to start. He caught a pass in an all star game in high school. Big guy who is athletic. Pretty sure he would contribute rather quickly.

Think of it like this.
He is better than Mincey. It is that simple really. Even if experience wise he is not he has 3 years Mincey has one. Also Mincey was a diva.

Lastly if he gets whipped all fall camp they will slide him to RT. Which is what he played at LSu. I believe he just wants a guaranteed start. I don't think he had that at LSU. Once Mincey left we did.

Thanks Mincey.

Jim Harbaugh would be my first call, if I were the decision maker for the Titans.

He's played in 12 games for LSU and started one. He was named to the freshman all SEC team. Not too shabby

Lots of new folks on here tonight. That's ok. Come on in. Converse. Interact. Opine. But, for the love of all that is holy, please try to read the room before you start spouting some of the absolute ridiculous **** you all are slinging around. Go Vols!!
And for the love of all that’s good and holy, don’t go starting any threads.
