Paul Kuharsky ( I know, I know) said that Ran wanted to basically blow the roster up and get draft capital for a complete rebuild. Vrabel felt like he could fix the issues with free agency etc. Apparently neither would budge and Amy Adams made the call to move on. PK also said there was really no option to try to trade Vrabel because they would have to wait until after the divisional rounds to reach out to other teams. Could not leave the team hanging for that long.So I’m a Sunday Titan, meaning I watch them on Sundays and in the playoffs, but I don’t follow them religiously. What behind the scenes stuff is he talking about?
This seems highly likely to me. We know it was Vrabel's MO to patch the issues both with players and coaches. Why hire Ran from a successful org to just do Vrabel's bidding?Paul Kuharsky ( I know, I know) said that Ran wanted to basically blow the roster up and get draft capital for a complete rebuild.
