It will be interesting. Maybe he doesn't care about all that.I wonder how much of his staff that DeBoer brings with him. I have no idea who they are but he has to have some dudes he wants to bring and it is doubtful any of those guys have recruited in the SEC. I guess he will try to poach some big time recruiters from other SEC teams. It will be interesting
Yup. Viewers just see the big plays or big fails. And modern box stats only capture the biggest of plays for defenders.I mean say you want about PFF but it’s not a terrible argument by default. They’re basically just saying that Watt’s case is made on the big plays that everybody notices (sacks), but if you track every play the other guys catch up by doing other stuff (pressures). Parsons had 70 pressures in 513 rushes, compared to Watt’s 47/551.
Still find it hard to believe that’s actually true in Watt’s case, but I wouldn’t call this “torturing the data until it confesses” either.
I rewatched the Bama game from 22 (again lol) recently. Keyton looked like a completely different player. Smooth reliable and quick. The case of Keyton.
He made amazing, game, if not season-altering plays. He would catch uncatchable passes. Wow plays.
And then drop wide open routes time and again.
Yeah we need to hide Rodney Garner somewhere so he can’t be found until after DeBoer hires his staff.I wonder how much of his staff that DeBoer brings with him. I love Keyton and how he got so much better from his sophomore season, but dude might be the most inconsistent player only second to Joe.I rewatched the Bama game from 22 (again lol) recently. Keyton looked like a completely different player. Smooth reliable and quick.
I remember Joe talking before the season about how Ramel finally came out of his shell off the field. I'll be honest. I liked him a lot more when he stayed in the shell.
