The Saban coaching rehabilitation center is closed.
They believe it's their birthright to be special and the best. Majority of thier fanbase has no clue who Ray Perkins was or anyone after StallingsReally don't understand why Alabama fans would think it would be different..
They seem to forget when Bear Bryant retired they absolutely sucked or was mediocre till Gene Stallings showed up..
Then they sucked till Saban got there, now he is gone they will SUCK again for a few years around 10 is the average..
The coach that replaced Bear never talked about him, got rid of his old office/stuff quickly, and tore down Bear's tower that he had at practices. Huge mistake. I'm sure it's a cautionary tale that the boosters or old timers shared with the new coach as soon as he got there.Pawl fine bawm is pretty funny
Just saw some of the new coach’s presser and it’s weird how infatuated he was with Saban and wanting him around
2 possibilities there: 1) he's saying that because he thinks he has to, because Saban is so beloved or 2) he's scared to death and really wants/thinks he needs his help.Pawl fine bawm is pretty funny

Caesars has a 1000 risk free bet I think right?Fanatics sports book used to be pretty good with sign up bonuses. You could use a referral code and get like $300 total. Now it's $200 after you make 5 $10 bets + $50 with referral code for $250 total (bet $200 bonus.)
Here's a code if you ever want to use them.

It's mostly entitlement on their part. However, I think part of the reason they think it this time is because Bear's final season wasn't anything special. Finished the season unranked and .500 in SEC play. Saban, in contrast, kind of pulled a rabbit out of a hat and was a couple of plays away from playing for a national title again this past season.Really don't understand why Alabama fans would think it would be different..

Which teams do you remember being championship caliber, losing their coach, then plugging in a new coach without much drop-off?Really don't understand why Alabama fans would think it would be different..

In the modern era, just offhand, I can think of Ohio St (twice, with Urban then Ryan Day) and Oklahoma (Lincoln Riley after Stoops left). Oregon actually stepped up a notch when Bellotti retired and Chip Kelly replaced him, then when Kelly left Helfrich was really good for a couple years before collapsing. If you go further back, Miami did on multiple occasions. If you go even further back, Nebraska transitioned smoothly between Bob Devaney and Tom Osborne.Which teams do you remember being championship caliber, losing their coach, then plugging in a new coach without much drop-off?
I'm having a hard time remembering any that were very good with the new coach. Maybe Oregon for a year or 2. UT, Majors to Fulmer, but that is different.
Odds are that Deboer is gonna crash in spectacular fashion within 3-4 seasons. . . it's looking like it could be sooner than that.

Miami Hurricanes from Jimmy Johnson to Dennis Erickson..is the only one I can think of..Which teams do you remember being championship caliber, losing their coach, then plugging in a new coach without much drop-off?

But didn’t OSU and OU do that with someone on staff? This is a whole new coaching staff and change of style. Will take a while to implement. And the more talent that’s lost the weaker the team becomes. In the modern era, just offhand, I can think of Ohio St (twice, with Urban then Ryan Day) and Oklahoma (Lincoln Riley after Stoops left). However, I'm not sure how relevant historical comparisons might be because of the transfer portal. "Coach XYZ inherited a good roster" isn't much of a thing anymore when guys can leave.
