SEC is a qb league. They're set for 1 year. He will recruit well. But, as we all said when he took this job. Well dont cut it when you're up against Saban expectations. Kirby is the only one who can and has recruited that well. Saban had the most ridiculous signing class last year, ever?

Debeers, will take the Champagne bottle. Christen the ship, which, may not sink. But, is destined for darker waters. And, I will be here for it.

You agree he will beat LSU, Auburn, Tennessee and GA his first year?

He struggled with recruiting at Washington…. He did get a highly rated transfer qb that has four years to play. I think he will do decent but struggle to meet Bama expectations. We are going to roll them when they come to knoxville.

He has to or these coaches won’t give him the access that he always talks about on his show. You think if he was openly critical of the hire he’d be welcomed at Bama the next couple years?

He can be honest without losing access. It just reduces my interest in his views if it feels like he’s pandering rather than giving genuine opinions.

I love how bama fans have already convinced themselves that Deboer will have almost no drop-off and that he was the best candidate and their 1st choice for the job, . Cant wait til they get throttled 3-5 times.

I read one comment that is excusing the transfers, saying "Deboer is undefeated over Lanning & Sark and he did it with a lot less talent". . . so it's ok Bama is hemorrhaging talent in the portal, Deboer will win them all anyway. He may have a decent couple seasons, but 4+ losses a year are right around the corner for them. They're now on Clemson time.

I can't wait for his first few losses and the phone lines go crazy, and their fans throw a fit. Then it will be their turn to get lectured by all the talking heads ane media blowhards about being good fans/people.

You think Dak is a good QB now? I dont watch enough NFL to know, but seems like he's gone downhill the past couple seasons. Maybe you guys can trade him to the Tits for Levis.

Dak had a great regular season- 36 TD’s and 9 INT’s. His 2021 year was 37 and 10.

He just made a few bad passes in the playoffs. But it was a team effort because the defense wasn’t good either.

Id temper those first year expectations. Debeers is a good coach, and has a Heistman level QB. Still has a talented roster.
