Heard that the Titans front office is a mess right now. Some like Ran, some don't. I'll let the other Titans fans with better access fill us in, but sounds great! Awesome franchise.
Wouldn't shock me. Amy is all-in on Ran though. Gave him full control over personnel decisions. Either Ran is a homerun and he and the new coach will take the team to high levels or it will crash and burn in 3 years.

But I heard Ran had disagreements in philosophy with peers when he was in San Francisco too. Which is fine and expected, bc everyone has different opinions, but the fact it's reported on makes me think its more of a personality thing and doesn't handle it well when people disagree with him. Maybe with full control there will be less of that, because he will just dictator it... idk

He missed more than two in the bowl game alone.

I'm not saying he can't/won't improve his blocking. Just that it needs to.
He only completely missed the blitz pick up in that LSU game his freshman year. In the bowl game, the OL completely whiffed on the pass rush and very large athletes got a free run into the backfield. Sampson saw it but got completely destroyed. He's definitely going to have to add size and strength to be able to hold up in those situations. He will also have to instinctually get much lower to be able to explode into those guys. They made him look like a middle schooler about 3 times in that game.

Black olive is pretty good. I enjoy their pizza.
I love that place...it is our favorite Italian restaurant and about 2-3 times a year we go all the way over there just to eat. We've been eating there since before it was The Black Olive....I can't remember the Italian family name it used to be bavk then though.

I'm just curious about the various health rumors that surfaced. Is he sick? Is his wife sick? Or did he really just decide enough is enough? Some call it being nosy, but I prefer to think of it as overly curious.
I can agree with this, but from a different stand point.

If it really is because his wife is sick then I feel bad for her, especially if it's Alzheimers because I've seen what that can do first hand.

If he quit because he didn't like the changes to CFB... then it makes him look like bad. So I really hope it's the second.

I honestly want Auburn to keep winning until they come to Thompson Boiling so we can ruin their run with an ass whooping

We're a game behind them though...if we're the only team to beat them it'd make it a lot harder to win the regular season SEC. They have a pretty easy schedule remaining.

@ Bama
@ Mississippi State
vs Bama
vs Kentucky
@ Tennessee

That's their 5 toughest games remaining.

We still have
@ Kentucky
vs Auburn
@ Bama
vs Kentucky

Three of those happening in our last 4 games. I'd like our chances better if we didn't have to beat Bama and Kentucky twice to win the SEC title.

Never fear bro. Saw you liked bird watching. Honestly could be one of the better ones I made so maybe better late than never. Apparently they believe the model for bird watching is Derrick Dooley though. lol

That second one, with his hand in his pocket..... That's disturbing, and I feel I need to repeat THIS IS A FAMILY SITE. No pics of people pleasuring themselves to birds. Perv.

Let's just win the NCAA tournament.

Kentucky having dropped 2 games already will make it an uphill battle for them. They have to play us twice, @ Auburn and vs Bama and with how they have played on the road they could have trouble @ LSU & @ Mississippi State.

Auburn could get bit though, they have 7 road games left of their 13 and Bama & Kentucky coming to their house. I don't think they'll be undefeated when they roll in to town. But I'd sure love for us to only have 1 loss when they do!

By this logic, Heupel lied to his recruits at UCF. I’m sure he didn’t tell them he might leave when he was recruiting them.

This fall out at Bama is bc kids signed up to play for Saban.
You know that's not true. Because you are in the player threads and you know that for the last several years a regular topic has been how in the world do those recruits think Saban will still be there their whole time.

I hope you aren't claiming that Bama recruits and their parents (and whatever agents they may) have been too stupid to ask Saban the most obvious question in the world.

No need for you to stan for Saban. Go off on Bama fans, for a change.

The other points in my post you rightly backed down from challenging. He built his name buying players from day 1 with impunity. Now that NIL is here, he can't compete. Saban ran away. And if you haven't noticed how gigantic a lie is Saban's self-serving propaganda claiming that "Parity" 🤣 is being "destroyed by NIL," your powers of observation are in swift decline.

With UK behind us and we have H2H against Bama we just really need help with the Auburn problem.
I think there's a chance we end with 3-4 conference losses. It's hard to see Auburn have more than 3. That MSST L wad pretty big as it comes to winning the reg season.

The hold my beer gif thread...... | NC4x4

We need 3-4 good ones in this class IMO. We lose a lot after this season. Big O, ONL, Elijah Simmons, and more.

Ethan Utley getting in the boat would help...Auburn also has quite a few DL kids committed, curious if they can keep all of them happy and get 'em signed.

I just hope we land most of the top 10 in-state kids...and there are 3 DL in that group.

Ethan Utley
Jhrevious Hall
Kalen Edwards (committed to Auburn right now)

That is a false equivalence...Saban knew he was quitting. Heupel didn't know he would get the job.

Little bit different situations.

Heupel didn't even know he would have an opportunity to leave UCF for UT when he was recruiting kids. I'm sure most of them would know most any coach would leave for a P5 job making double their current salary if available.

Saban knew he was thinking of retiring. He had even bought a retirement home in Florida in the off season. He planned it as much as he could to keep the freshman class at Bama. He waited until the EEs had started class before he announced his retirement. How many kids you think would have went to Bama if he even acted like he was thinking of retiring within the next couple years. I'm sure he told them all he was staying at least 4 more years.
