Where is Larry Bird on that list?

He's underappreciated IMO. His contemporaries would tell you they think he was one of the greatest. When he was on he was impossible to stop.

Watch Franco Columbu win Mr Olympia in 1981. I saw Lou and Arnold and yes Lou was at least 3-4 inches taller probably 30+ pounds heavier. They were in street clothes, both are large humans

Yeah...it really sucks...you know how life is, you go different directions and lose touch with old friends and family...It had been 10 years or so since the last time I had seen him, he had went off in a bad direction after his 2nd divorce, so he lived alone and had evidently been gone for a couple of days before he was found...they don't think drugs or foul play were involved from what my Dad told me, they think he just had a massive heart attack.

Understand man! So easy to lose touch with folks when you're out there just trying to make it yourself.

Such a young age to go! Sounds like it likely was fast with minimal suffering at least. I know it doesn't change anything but I'm sure ya know what I mean.

I can't watch this garbage...I grew up watching real basketball played with pure intensity at both ends of the floor.

His peak was elite. But short-lived, comparably.

Only 4 straight season 25 ppg+.

Just 6 seasons over .500 eFG%.

But at his top, yes he's definitely top 10 all-time, maybe higher. And that's a factor worth considering for sure. Everyone's career plays out differently.
