I've tried to watch it several times...it is freaking ridiculous...they walk or travel or double dribble nearly every time up the floor, there is no "dance"..and defense is non-existent.Agree, defense in NBA is extinct. Years ago a close line to stop someone from scoring was just a common foul.
Now you breath on them they throw players out of the game. Bunch of powderpuffs..
Thank you! Here it is with the words cropped out. . . unless you just like the way the words look.

I can't watch this garbage...I grew up watching real basketball played with pure intensity at both ends of the floor.
No defense league is pure f'n garbage.
I get it’s too close in time and people beef with LeBron for various reasons, but dude is the best NBA player of all time. He consistently beat the best anyone could throw at him for two decades. It’s transcendent. If Bird isn't in your top 5, your list should be ignored, Laker boy.
Jordan
Bird
Magic
Kareem
Kobe
My top 5.
From HS to College to NBA...Kareem is on 5 different mountains all to himself.
It's no big secret that NBA has changed so many rules that defenses are handcuffed now. Then you don't watch at all. That's fine. But you know not what you speak either.
The pro schemes, similar to football, has shifted towards offense. The schemes are far superior to the old days. Space and pace. Defenders are forced into either guarding very deep, 1-on-1s, or PnRs most of the time. Match that with THE greatest athletes from all around the globe, unlike 30-40+ years ago, and you get modern pro basketball. Not pounding it in slowly vs 3 other paint defenders. About as bad as running fullbacks behind multiple blockers into loaded boxes smh.
It's like folks saying nobody plays defense in football anymore because everyone's spread out...uptempo...there are tons of busted coverages. Some folks on the radio were saying how awful CFB playoff and bowl games were with all the wide open guys. They don't get how great the O schemes are these days that put pressure on every single defender. Only 1 or 2 teams each year are talented enough to really play elite level defense vs all of that.
He got hurt. His peak was elite. But short-lived, comparably.
Only 4 straight season 25 ppg+.
Just 6 seasons over .500 eFG%.
But at his top, yes he's definitely top 10 all-time, maybe higher. And that's a factor worth considering for sure. Everyone's career plays out differently.
