Apparently, Knecht is the first SEC player with five straight 25-point games in 14 years. He's got the target on his back now, other teams are going to try to stop him. ZZ/Santi will be there to step up. JJJ could be slumping but defense is down too, so he's hurt, IMO. Need to let him recover for tournament. Mashack has shown that he can stop the best on the other side, Gainey has come out of his slump. Aidoo is amazing, but also Tobe great rebounder and Estrella is getting better and better. Let's hope this is THE team and we get a good bracket in the tournament.

First…… I love Barnes and everything he is brought to our program…. That still doesn’t change that it is a tournament sport…. To me…. an Elite Eight is a great season and i want Barnes to advance to an EE or beyond…. I hate the thought process that we shouldn’t push for that bc we have had idiots running the college I love…. i want us to become like Kentucky/NC/Duke in basketball…. Alabama in football and so on. We have the administration to take us there. Go Vols!!!

How about better?

We’re approaching greatness in football baseball and basketball!

None of those schools can claim that accomplishment. They were all in on one sport.

Tennessee Volunteers are all in for all 3. Its already starting to payoff.

The moment you compare a coach in a sport to your all-time great list, the debate is kind of over. Is he an all-time top 5 or ten coach? Maybe not, but there are five to ten guys, so it is a stupid debate. Also, how many schools have General Neyland and John Wooden in their histories? Duke is a basketball school, and they should have a top-ten coach. UT is a football school. To have a Barnes-caliber guy and a Vitello-caliber guy at a football school at the same time as a Heupel-caliber guy is a testament to what UT is putting together. It is nothing short of amazing, and people should soak it in more.

Unfortunately, some of our OL have tried to use motion and shifts…but they keep getting caught. Hopefully he continues that tradition at uk.

But also there’s tons of reasons bball recruits would choose a UConn over UT. They’ve won 5 NCs since 1999.

After this year, the most recent NC will mean more to the recruits and transfers!

Hint: Tennessee Volunteers will be that team!



Oh and for all those pearlists, they just lost to Mississippi State in basketball. Is MSU good or just really good at home?

Other than 90s Nebraska, any other schools with that accomplishment?

No great source for total team yards, but just glancing I think UGA is another. 2 years of 2500 seemed pretty common. Three years seemed to thin things out. I did not dig past that.

Out of 300+ Division 1 colleges 3 schools have won National Championship in all 3 major Sports, not as easy as individuals believe..
