Edit: you also misspelled Ulysses E. McGill. If you’re going to attempt to play the Soggy Bottom Boys fanboy, at least get it right.
They are obviously two different people, besides Ulysses E. McGill is a fictitious character in a movie whereas Ulysees E. McGill is a real person.

No disagreement. And I'm not 'mad'. But I was really starting to believe this team had games like this well in it's rear view. Disappointed i guess is a better word, for this game.
We will have more games like this...people that want these players to change who they are as a shooter-scorer at this point in their career are setting themselves up for disappointment after disappointment.

We have several players that are prone to extremely cold spells and hot streaks as shooters, often several if them at the same time..and that is not going to change at this point. It is and has been a flaw, and will remain a flaw.

Still...we lost this game at the FT line...if we had shot a good percentage there, we still win the game despite Pat Adams repeatedly doing his thing and shutting off momentum.

The hope is that we don't have a game like this in March, and if we do have a game like this, we better force the other team into a bad shooting night or we will go home.

Please both of you rank Kirby as a defensive play caller or coach. Separately, why have other teams played them closer? Can't both things be true? I love all of you, but people love some absolutes. Even if we say Kirby is a mediocre play-caller, and it is ONLY his talent advantage, how do we beat them? They have better in-state talent, better recent history etc. I think Heupel has played better against equally good talent. I do not think he has schemed his best against Kirby.
Sally dalliance has infected your brain.
Our previous 4 football coaches were regularly out coached and out talented.

Now that harbaugh is gone from michigan, we don’t have to worry about a sign stealing Ponzi scheme again.

Not now nor will it ever occur again under CJH’s watch.

Enjoy the optimism and bask in the future. You will realize as the season unfolds that Tennessee’s designation as feared juggernaut will be glorious to those clad in Orange! It’s the beginning of decades of nightmares for all those who oppose us!

Meanwhile in bizarro world. A coach stole signs and his program is scott free. Won a National Title.

And TN who worked hand in hand, heralded as exemplary cooperation with NCAA, is placed on probation for following the rules.

Any team that is going to upset UGA at this point will have to do so with lesser talent. Zero discussion or debate. That may soon be true of teams like Texas too. We have to have a schematic advantage, or we will be 10-2 making perennial excuses for the gaps. IMO the gap is closed by QB play. We all seem to believe we have one.
Enjoy the game this year, because the dawgs will be kenneled. All Tennessee fans should carry a rolled up magazine or newspaper with them and swat the noses of any dawg fans who bark at them. Admonish the dawgs as Bad Dogs. It’s truly unfortunate that their mascot can’t tuck its tail between its legs as it runs away in fear and embarrassment. It’s also sad that as it attempts to run away ghat it will collapse due to all the inbreeding genetic factors. 😈

What's funny is that I'm badly dyslexic...so when I was typing in my info 14-15 years ago..that is what happened, and I never even noticed until much later...but I didn't care to fix it...hell there are five different ways of spelling my name, so who the crap cares?

Regarding Basketball. I think sometimes it is the losses that make you strongest. Our baseball team could not be stopped that one season, but once we got cold in post season we froze and it was over. Some early adversity might have better prepared that team.

There will be grind it out games for this team in post season. Playing our old style of pressure and low scoring is probably the best way to slow us down. There should be no hand wringing that this happened. The better question is did we learn?

UT is on top of this NCAA investigation. Admin knew it was coming, and it was inevitable. The NCAA thought UT was not punished sufficiently last year, they did not like the support UT brought in and they were not through with UT. UT did not appreciate the way the NCAA said one thing and did another, and UT admin did not appreciate the late add-ons.

Everybody put a good public face on it, but neither side was happy with the other or the outcome of the investigation. Coming after UT as a repeat offender was always going to happen. The NCAA wanted to make an example out of big powerful school, and UT has been painted as a rogue program in multiple sports. (Hint: baseball.) This is unfinished business, and UT is prepared to finish it.

Lawsuits are coming if they give us a notice of allegation, but if they are smart they will back down

We’re about to go from the NCAA’s stepchild to the college football world’s braveheart and I’m frickin here for it.

So basically NCAA is trying to turn this into a pissing contest?

I'm pumped in a way I can't properly describe to watch UT be the one to finally put the knife into these corrupt dinosaurs. They had the opportunity to change with the times and stay relevant but they didn't, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.

A live version of (RIP) Tom Petty’s song I won’t back down has more power than the NCAA nowadays. Only good thing to ever come out of Gainesville

So the NCAA is holding a grudge. Color me shocked. I hope we mount an offensive as I’m so sick of their unequal enforcement.
