So what you're saying is there was 100% a bias against us last year.UT is on top of this NCAA investigation. Admin knew it was coming, and it was inevitable. The NCAA thought UT was not punished sufficiently last year, they did not like the support UT brought in and they were not through with UT. UT did not appreciate the way the NCAA said one thing and did another, and UT admin did not appreciate the late add-ons.
Everybody put a good public face on it, but neither side was happy with the other or the outcome of the investigation. Coming after UT as a repeat offender was always going to happen. The NCAA wanted to make an example out of big powerful school, and UT has been painted as a rogue program in multiple sports. (Hint: baseball.) This is unfinished business, and UT is prepared to finish it.
This is what needs to happen. Class action their b!tch azzes. Hammer down all the way to SCOTUS if needed. Totally destroy including forcing the payment of damages that the member schools that stick around have to pay out of pocket.Badly. Other schools will join us in fighting this too because first us, then them. We have all been playing in the same ****.
Of course. It's not a good thing to be labelled a repeat offender. It creates distractions nobody wants or needs, and it puts added pressure on coaches to recruit around it. People will continue to use any investigation or allegations of wrongdoing against UT, as they always have. And the university doesn't like the negative publicity or the inevitable smear campaigns by the usual suspects. Is there anything to worry about? Effect recruiting? Etc. They would try and paint us as a target as soon as we start to rise again.
I will say that, so far, the public response has been far more positive towards us than I would have expected. I think most people are kind of done with the NCAA and realize what a farce this whole situation has turned into.Of course. It's not a good thing to be labelled a repeat offender. we are being singled out. THE most damning thing is that NCAA pres refused to meet with our team. NCAA dont want this.Of course. It's not a good thing to be labelled a repeat offender. Add to that statements coming from Donde, state reps, and Tom Mars indicating that we’ve been going out of our way to discern rules/compliance with no help from the NCAA.we are being singled out. THE most damning thing is that NCAA pres refused to meet with our team. NCAA dont want this.
We can show compelling evidence of singling out. Create shreds of doubt bc of our own cooperation, and bc of Spyre's world class detailed legal counsel.
No way this ends well for them.
UT has a reputation of rolling over whenever the NCAA comes sniffing around, even if it is forwe are being singled out. THE most damning thing is that NCAA pres refused to meet with our team. NCAA dont want this.

It is grasping at straws.
It's already a legal process. The chancellor is fronting it, and she's very good at that. You don't write a letter like that without a legal strategy in play. And you don't go public without support behind you.Do you feel like lawsuits are coming if they do give us a notice of allegation? I am just assuming based on what the chancellor is saying in her letter, but seems like the university will fight it in court
