To those that can shove their lol's up their a**...I guess I have to state: I don't believe the NCAA can beat UT and others in court, based on everything i have seen and read, so far...I believe we win, and quite possibly hammer the last nail in the NCAA's coffin. However, IF we don't win, and the NCAA gets favor and retains their power and position, then YES, they can do something to us. Anyone who thinks differently...lol.
To those who think the NCAA will have any power to do anything to us. LOL.

I wish Asheville would get a few more pickleball courts. Most of them are for private clubs.
The one across the street from me is open. Just have to reserve to ensure a spot (or just show up and risk it), because it's pretty busy. $10 iirc.

Asheville Sports Club in the South Slope. Can also drink there.

And on Saturday nights you can find a mean game of "gotcha" (basketball) going on.

Maybe I should be more concerned about this but I'm just not. Just my opinion but I think before long the NCAA will blink first, and make some kind of statement that lets them save face.
Yup.

Hopefully people will stop freaking out and we can get back to winning the SEC in basketball, then baseball. Oh, and Spring Nico ball 👀

This SEC-B1G committee gives them cover for that. We’d all know the truth of why they actually backed down, but all this is kayfabe anyway, so why not a little more pretending?

That’s my whole point. Hard for me to see a scenario where they wouldn’t want whatever organization comes from this to be a vehicle for them to maintain their unfair advantage.

Maybe it isn’t an OSU thing. Maybe it was a little nicky thing. Maybe he was the one being protected at all costs and now that he is gone things change? Idk. Like I said, I will believe they want a fair, level playing field when I see it.
Their “unfair advantage” was the OLD WAY. There’s no “maintaining” what is GONE. Saban left most likely due to that inevitable fact. The days of picking out your favorite red Dodge Charger off of one of his parking lots and getting a bag man to give you some Krystal’s coupons went the way of Blockbuster.

This could be just as bad for us or even worse than the NCAA depending on who is on the panel. If it’s bama, uga, osu, michigan, they are just devising a way to keep their competitive imbalance advantages intact.

Oh you're very correct. The universities need no power, especially our rivals, whose power would increase substantially.

Set up a private org and then have the players' union get the rest.
