Crappie used to be abundant and easy to catch on Loudon & Douglas. Not anymore, for me at least. This time of year, I usually bass fish and then towards the end of the day pull out a crappie rod for a few casts. I have done pretty well this time of year on Chickamauga….there are some bigguns down there.

@jave36 is a real Vols fan He has pissed me off more than once and a few years ago I had him on ignore because he appeared to be a troll. He really seems to enjoy taking the opposite view of most and I think he does so he can have debates for his enjoyment. It gets old when he just keeps posting the same thing over and over again. He also gets a superiority complex. However, he makes some good point as well. I do not think this is one of those times and it does make the ignore function a consideration for a short time until he gets off a subject. But he is a Vol fan and not a troll.

I agree he is not our friend. But even more than Bama, he loves himself and MONEY. He will attack the NCAA. It is because he sees an opportunity and has other schools that will be damaged and not just him feeling some kind of orange love in his heart.

Its very odd looking in person. Normally i'd agree with grass carp, but it has such a weird shape for those. They are thin looking with a pointy bead/mouth, compared to their length (about 3ft). . . I hooked one once when it hit a spinner, fought it for 10 mins before the line broke.

Seems like it could only be about 3 types of fish, probably a carp, but maybe something like a gar.

I honestly have no idea how good Campbell actually is. He got a lot of attention and hype for the game he blocked dude through the endzone, but I have no idea how well he actually graded out.

That said, Mincey is making himself out as a little bitch. I'm not one to talk horrible about former players, unless it's Toot, but Mincey keeps running his mouth, writing checks I don't believe his ass can keep. Bad-mouthing and taunting his former teammates is a dumb idea. They will remember, and they will whoop your ass.

He keeps this up and actually gets on the field, he will end up with an injury. It will not be pretty.

I’m pretty certain grass carp. If you zoom in the second pic you can see the dorsal fin is in the center of the fish. Gar species have the dorsal further back, very close to the caudal fin.

The free throw stats need to be up there. Free throws are VITAL. I love this team but we are not shooting very well at the line and there is no excuse for it. In tourney time free throw shooting will only magnify, it’s all focus and repetition. There is no excuse for us not to be 75-80 percent as a team. We can’t be 12-24 there, that is unacceptable. Whether I watch the game or not will completely depend on who the refs are. If we get one of Shows, Adams, or Teddy V, I’m out.

We won’t get Adams because I’ve never seen the same official in consecutive games. I haven’t seen Teddy V much in the SEC this year. There is a chance we get Shows, although I will give him credit in the UGA game. He apparently saved Barnes from a technical after seeing two bad calls by his colleagues.

Terry Oglesby is catching up with this group. We also haven’t seen Joe Lindsey much this year. I’m going to say we will get 1 or 2 of Shows, Oglesby, Lindsey, Owen Shortt, or Lee Cassell.

Well when the lawyer makes a statement saying we got this stay away, I think fans want to make sure everyone gets the message.They can do any of them things in Knoxville, just a good idea to not do it at Greenville courthouse.
