This is one of your better posts. Sometimes you get thumped regardless of how hard you play. I hate people proclaiming that some team quit. It is just what you said. Lazy.

We needed more Mr. Hyde down low last night, IMO. We are tough and gritty, but we did get moved around. I think the inconsistent whistle every game hurts us in that regard.

With what?

Even before the SEC slate began, Vegas had us the leader...but with only a 27% chance. It's like a three man race in presidential elections. You can be the plurality, but far from majority.

Is not overcoming the 73% likelihood a "failure"? That seems ludicrous.

It’s fans not wanting to admit their team isn’t as talented or didn’t play well. Players must have quit or not cared. It gets thrown around too often. A Rick Barnes team cares.

That it would be an upset if we won it.
We were pre season favorites, we were expected to win it.

Like I said, I didn't watch. From what I've seen, they were much more physical. It sounds like we came out more physical in the 2nd half and they were in the bonus immediately. 🤔

Fair enough, but we disagree on the Blue Blood definition.

I've always understood it to mean teams that won heavily during the popularization of the sport - tradition.

Reason why ND, PSU, and ourselves are bluebloods, but LSU, Miami, FSU, uga are not.

Think Barnes will invest some time and practice into getting a lineup together that's more optimal vs those kinds of teams, which we'll inevitably run into during the tournament.

Think it will require more Mashack...more Awaka...the TAMU game at home should be a testing ground. We need to experiment now before March.
