It's possible. But the revenue share would be directly tied the athletic department's revenue stream which would mostly be equal across the conference (minus disparity in ticket sales, swag sales and post season revenue). And the nil, in theory, should not require any under the table shenanigans...I’m concerned we’ll be back to the situation where the teams with the best “under the table” program will have the advantage again…
How would that help what’s going on now? It would still be a bidding war for the players.I think if you do a revenue share that is dictated by an administrative body, you call still work under title 9. Nil, which should be market based valuation, then allows those that can demand top $$, can still get top $$. And you wouldn't necessarily need collective bargaining because of title 9. Everybody wins.... Money earned by the schools from tv deals and post season gets distributed back to the athletes, nil allows additional opportunities for those that are able. Over simplified, sure. But I think that's a place you can work from. ADs could them use booster money for facilities etc..
I don't think it realistic to expect it won't be.How would that help what’s going on now? It would still be a bidding war for the players.
We are having a party for some boys on the baseball team. So doing that and watching Jennings try to get a ring and the food. I am really here for the FOOD. Also, the boys can't have girlfriends at the party. So, gonna be all food and football.I’m watching Puppy Bowl right now.. and maybe will watch later for JJ and Trey sightings .. not really into this Superbowl
