Top story on ESPN Headlines.

First thing I saw. Idk how notifications work, but this isn't UT specific either. It's 2 states v NCAA, so I wouldn't expect it similar to score updates.

No longer sub The Athletic. Long form apparently means a lot of reading 😅
I can see where you‘re coming from, but I would think the NCAA losing in federal court would be important enough to push a notification to their readers And not just UT fans. I got one when we “lost“ the emergency injunction hearing.

The Athletic took an hour and a half to post their article. At least their staff wrote it and it wasn’t just the AP article.

They keep thumb-tugging this "member schools" refrain...almost like they really believe it!

You all wanted this!
- Pharoah to Member Tribes of Israel prolly
It’s such a useless argument, too.

“But we all agreed on these illegal rules that we’re unevenly enforcing!”

It's easy for "member schools" to endorse rules that are selectively applied to others. I'm sure that old Jere down in Georgia is happy with the rules while UGA violates them with impunity.

Alabama and the other chosen golden calves definitely desperately want to reestablish the former status quo...they just can't outright say so without pissing off every player in the country.

Actually, they don't. I have a buddy that hunts basically everything that moves. He also believes that if you kill it, you have to eat it. He killed a bobcat on his property one day. I asked him how bobcat tasted. He said it was pretty gamey (coming from somebody that ate a ton of game).
Vinegar, salt brine.
