Placing their hopes on Congress isn’t necessarily a bad move. Congress loves to squash individual rights.So...that is their endgame...they hope Congress will intervene and allow them to continue to squash individuals rights.
It is insane how they can stand there and claim with a straight face to be about helping "Student athletes" avoid exploitation...they are truly evil.
Quit destroying our ties righteous indignation, please. TIATop story on ESPN Headlines.
First thing I saw. Idk how notifications work, but this isn't UT specific either. It's 2 states v NCAA, so I wouldn't expect it similar to score updates.
No longer sub The Athletic. Long form apparently means a lot of reading
I think they know their position wasn't winnable and they want congressional oversight so they can determine where they may make a play to be relevant in the future if college football. They pushed the issue because it had stalled.I think they're doing it on purpose. It's hard to be so wrong when you have an entire office full of "professionals" and lawyers. Them being this wrong on this scale makes no sense it all.
What a bunch of crybabies. They went from saying about the Vols... “They’re dead in the water.” to this whiny ****.
yikes….
