Tennessee hires Jeremy Pruitt and ultimately gets fired for violating NCAA rules that are now no longer enforceable. Tennesse fully cooperates with the NCAAs investigation. The NCAA then wants to give Tennessee a bowl ban but backs off when the Tennessee AG threatens to sue. NCAA gets their feelings hurt and wants to bury Tennessee with NIL rules with the backing and encouragement of Nick Saban that didn't even exist when Nico was being recruited. The domino that starts the end for the NCAA was when Tennessee hired Pruitt who learned to cheat from Saban. Rather ironic isn't it.

In a weird way Pruitt is responsible for saban retiring. We likely don't blow up NIL with Pruitt here because everybody in the building but Fulmer hated him. No Heupel second year and our NIL doesn't take off. I know its a stretch but maybe instead of sabatoging us, Pruitt actually screwed the bammers.
