Here's my beagle after catching a sliver of door open on a 15 degree December night. He was gone for 3 hours in a several thousand acre Mississippi hardwood swamp. Escaped around 10pm and showed up around 1. I chased him and caught him initially, but he slipped out of his collar when we busted a deer, then I busted my a$$ in icy mud in the swamp trying to grab him so I went back to the house filthy.

For shame....

Yeah, that pup cuddled with me the rest of the night after his bath. I couldn't say no.

I will never love a dog more than I love my beagle. Impossible.

But I sure as hell ain't getting another dang beagle when he's gone. Good God.
No kidding, you love em so much then sometimes you just want to choke em. My wife's Beagle she had when she was a kid was a kleptomaniac. Would bring back all kinds of stuff from the farm next to her house. Brought home a plastic clothes basket once. He also killed about 20 of her dads chickens too.......and when they caught him he was so happy, he thought he did something good.

I love the off season when everyone shares pictures of their dogs and stories about them 🧡. No offense to cat people, I’m just not one. My parents’ cats tolerate me and same on my part. Oh, I know they’re pretty and are important pets too, they bring my parents a lot of happiness and enjoyment, but I’m a dog lover. There I said it.

Some reality has to dawn before they find new homes imo.
This is true.

Going back to combine, I haven't checked but I'm assuming Williams, Maye, Daniels and a few more highly rated Quarterbacks will not attend.

Just wait and do their personal workouts for teams.

I'm the same way, I'm only a cat person (kinda) because my daughter loves them and I can't tell her no.

My beagle is an escape artist, which is shocking because he appears inert. He rarely barks, which is shocking because he's a dang beagle.

Until he sees prey.... then he's unstoppable. He barreled straight into a chain link fence once, bowing it out and rolling under it. It had appeared solid initially. He was later found under a woman's house having bayed a whole family of cats.

He was so proud - only relenting when presented with an entire porkchop (but he had to think about it and made a business decision) by the owner.

He insists on cuddling with every visitor though. He loves people. He loves babies. Just a chill dog that mostly lays around until he catches wind of a cat or rabbit.

To add to my earlier post about Barnes and the Tournament...

He's taken the Vols to five tournaments in seven years, about to be six out of eight. Two of those tournaments, Cinderella bent us over at half court and made us like it...with Loyola-Chicago and Florida Atlantic riding a heater all the way to the Final Four.

One of those tournaments, 20-21, Cinderella felt just a standard ass-whipping would suffice, with Oregon St finding midnight in the Elite Eight...they were on fire entering the tournament, having just won the Pac 12 tourney; and rode it until they lost to Houston by 6. And, in 18-19, Purdue upset us in overtime, then got beat by 5 in overtime by Virginia, who went on to win it all.

Yes, a couple of those years were downright frustrating and sucked, especially 18-19; while 17-18 and last year were...fate. Loyola-Chicago/Florida Atlantic...NO ONE wants to face teams like that whenever they're on a Cinderella run, NO ONE. NOTHING is stopping them until the Final Four...we've seen it time and time and time, again...year after year after year. As I said Barnes was just snakebit...to have to face two teams making runs like that.
The one that gets me is the Michigan game. So winnable.
