Was reading yesterday about the longest ever verifiable perfect bracket. 2019 and it had CRUSHED the previous record.

The game it went bust on? UT-Purdue The BS leg kick call, which I admit I was torn on in real-time. But after seeing it post-game and all the rules experts ruling it, it was unanimously decided as bullcrap.

Ugh Purdue will never be Bama or Florida to me, but those guys have BS'd their way to more wins over us than anyone. Time for payback vs their last shot with Edey. I'm peppered.

I think the team comes out feeling the same way and beats Purdue by 20+!

I think we gotta just live with Edey destroying us inside and not let him kick it out for wide open threes.

Do not take chances with help defense on him because

They'll call a foul

You'll leave someone open and you can't have them all get hot from three.

Aidoo needs to plavsic him in the eye.

Awaka going to have the crazy eyes going against Edey

We held Zach Edey to 23pts 10reb in Maui. He didn't beat us. Loyer beat us with 27pts. Zakai was still getting limited minutes and Knecht was still building.

Zakai didn't start. Logged 28 minutes. He will probably play 40 minutes Sunday and be stuck on Loyer. He also had 3 turnovers and only 3 assists. Knecht only had 16pts and led the team with 7 rebounds. Gainey had 15. Nobody else scored more than 9pts (Mashack).

Yes, our leading scorers in a 4pt loss to Purdue were Knecht, Gainey, and Mashack.

The Bad: Awaka and Aidoo played a combined 25 minutes, 10 fouls, 11pts, 2 rebounds. Phillips and Estrella added another 1 rebound, 0 points, and 4 fouls.

We managed to get Edey called for 4 fouls. Maybe we can get him into early foul trouble then get Aidoo and Awaka some action while he's on the bench.

How did Mashack do? Because he is a defensive monster now.
