Maybe start Santi with a very short hook.

It's wild how quick they play Sweet 16 then Elite 8 rounds. Almost seems too quick for being this far into the tournament. Especially if you make one team play til 1am then have them tipping off in the EE 37 hours later.

Unfortunately, Aidoo was a liability last night. He’s not been playing his best basketball the last few games. Hope he comes out strong Sunday. We’ll need him.

Rewatching the Maui invitational, and we had a good game plan against them. A minute left in the first half, and Purdue has shot 22 FTs. And Loyer having the game of his life.

Anyone else think commentators way overemphasize when the winning team happens to foul a shooter near the end of the game?

They always say "IT STOPS THE CLOCK" yeah no shiz...and if the shot goes in they still have 2 points and the clock is the same as if the guy was fouled and made 2 FTs. Especially if the defender isn't in foul trouble and it was a wide open shot...at least you force them to try and make 2 FTs. It's not like you sprinted towards the defender and just whacked the guy dribbling, which is much different.

It just seems like a silly point to make about "stopping the clock" as if that matters vs a made FG.
