It's not the attacking fouls that are the only point. Much of Edey's game is getting rebounds, and when he is allowed to clear out with elbows or push Aidoo from behind, then he can do what he wants. Even Steve Lappas, who was eating up Edey's game, even admitted on one play that Aidoo got pushed from behind under the rim.

Agree about Edey clearing out. If just a couple of those get called, he’s on the bench.

Aidoo’s shots were pretty much all uncontested jumpers. I just think we needed JJJ, Mashack, and Knecht attacking the basket to make Edey move his feet and make decisions. That’s how you get to the line.

I think Fulky would have been great in this game. The best part of his offense was getting the ball at the elbow and driving hard to the rim.

I know the thread you are talking about and I know the interview where Rick’s words were misconstrued. However there is nothing to back up your arguments or talking points instead you push a narrative that is untrue because that’s how a few posters perceived his comments back then…

You are getting exactly what you want because you have no life outside of this board other than to pester people and bring about negative untruthful rhetoric, so congrats on getting a reaction

Honestly we don’t deserve Rick to be our coach I’d rather you guys suffer in misery with your constant negativity/trolling everyday on this board. You don’t want actual discussion you only want reaction and that is a sad life to live…

Rick is an excellent coach who needs to tweak his philosophy on recruiting to get with the times. He recruits good but not enough emphasis on scoring the ball. I understand recruiting character kids who aren’t drama but we have money to spend… we are a few missed portal scorers away from being Vriginia basketball next season. Zeigler is the only one who can get you 20 at times and that’s not really his style of game… we will have a very mediocre offense next year. Hoping to keep teams below 60 points. Defensively should be elite again.

This is where I think I'm most misunderstood and people take me for trolling. I want him out because I don't believe in teaching old dogs new tricks.
Defense is fine but you need to put the ball in the hoop. I just don't see him changing enough to get enough scoring to do the thing.

2022, 2023 classes sealed the deal. Believe just one commitment in 2 seasons from high school ranks.
