But that player didn't allow the defensive player a fair opportunity to contest the shot...swings both ways.
Again, I totally get both sides of the argument. But some sports, specifically soccer and basketball, some times you call the foul and sometimes you let it slide depending on the game situation. At that point, I personally would have swallowed the whistle. And if this had been the Lady Vols or Men, we would all be hollering BS till our hearts’ content.

Glad you weren’t the ref during the Syracuse game during the NC season. Would be glad to beta test your theory about us wailing over a clear and blatant foul committed by our player. In my experience, we tend to judge ourselves way harsher than others. You’re more likely to see threads lambasting the player for cheating us a chance at the shot…see Uros threads from last season.

are yall still going on about the Edey injustices? It happened to every team they played.

I have full faith officiating issues will be resolved by kickoff!!!

Do not include me in your argument. I desire fairness and integrity in officiating regardless of outcome.

April 6, 1896

The first celebration of the modern Olympic Games took place in its ancient birthplace - Greece. The Games attracted athletes from 14 nations, with the largest delegations coming from Greece, Germany, France and Great Britain.

"I hereby proclaim the opening of the first International Olympic Games at Athens." With these words on April 6, 1896, King George I of Greece welcomed the crowd that had gathered in the newly reconstructed Panathenean Stadium to the modern-day Olympic Summer Games.

The program for the Games included track and field, fencing, weightlifting, rifle and pistol shooting, tennis, cycling, swimming, gymnastics, and wrestling. Although 14 nations participated, most of the athletes were Greek.

Mine:
I was playing with a guy who pulled a gun on another player on the first tee.
Maybe as scared as I've ever been.................

I’ve had a gun pulled on me twice in my life. Both over traffic incidents, neither of which I started, but one of which I MAY have escalated.

I give no effs if UConn got screwed. Geno deserves it. His karma is horrible. The man disrespected Pat. I will NEVER cheer for him or UConn.
And this is all you need to know right here.

When I was practicing in Knoxville, one of my patients was a Lady Vols season ticket holder with seats behind the opponent bench. She said of all the coaches, that Geno was the absolute worst with the way he spoke to his players. She said that there’s no way that most parents would let him coach their daughters if they knew. She said that was the main reason why Coach Pat disliked him. He gets results, but treats his players like dog sh!t. He would absolutely get his arse beat if he coached mens bb. 😡
