Edey didn't camp out today. I was looking for it all game. Didn't see Burns do it much either.

Yeah they mentioned it mid-game. He did well to keep moving. State coach wanted it to be emphasized.

Honestly can't remember the last time a 3 second call has been called on offense in all of basketball. I had nearly forgotten about the rule lol

Seems if you can disrupt them from getting to their quick scoring spots, they are pedestrian

Wonder if the SEC will figure them out and start beating them regularly sometime soon

Not convinced. That offensive style is like UT football. It's just an optimal style. Unless you just have a ton of raw talent or are an absolute top coached defensive team...good luck. 75% of the SEC ain't that. Luckily we are.

It's the kind of offense DW looks for. Primo schematically. No good way to "beat it" for most opponents.

I think the 2024 Tennessee Volunteers are the 3rd best team in the country. But we will see if Purdue blows UConn off the court Monday.

I get why we slipped out of the 1 seed talk but I believe we were the 5th best team and we should have been in UNC's bracket.

I'd be confident moving us up to 4th ahead of UNC post-tourney. I think being behind them was questionable to begin with.

But we started welll behind Houston who was #2 most of the way. They only lost after their best player was injured and we only made it 1 more game than they did. For the entire year, I'd put us just behind Purdue as of now. Obviously Purdue would deserve the bump if they won. I'd have us 4th regardless of NC outcome.

Amazing season. Top notch team, but just short of elite for various small reasons.

Yeah I don’t think Purdue is beating UCONN. We’ll see how it’s officiated but if they let both teams play, UCONN is winning another title.

Edey will be going against another big (that’s close to his size) that can score and defend so he’ll actually have to work on both ends.
