The main reason they out rebounded us by 21 was because they were all allowed (not just Edey) to arm bar us, elbow us in the face, and push us in the back when we were in position to grab the board.

As far as Uros, I think he would have helped marginally defending Edey, but the refs weren’t gonna allow him to be touched so it’s a moot point.
JMO, Uros wouldn’t have played any better than Estrella. Just would have landed Purdue in the bonus even sooner.

Enforcers effect doesn’t show up on stat sheets. Hockey didn’t invent them simply because they liked violence. They’re effective in disrupting players. It would’ve helped immensely.

Some ppl just don't know all the ins & outs of basketball evidently and think every player should score 20-30pts a game to be effective. 🤦‍♂️ Would Uros shut Edey down? Prob not nor am I saying that at all but Id almost guarantee he would have got a few rebounds (offense & defense) made his 5 fouls felt & not been just touch fouls. If you don't think us getting a few extra rebounds wouldn't have made a difference then just tell me you don't know ball and thinks it's all bout score score score... say they outrebound us by 15-17 instead of 21.. those 4-6 they didn't grab turns into say 6-12 extra points for us (depending if it's 2s or 3s we hit if we just score 50-60% of those rebounds) so take a few 2nd chances points away from them & we have a different result. That's how Uros would have helped and effected the game.

Not mentioning his fouls and making Edey feel/know he's there. You're crazy if you don't think Edey knowing he couldn't punk Uros or manhandle wouldn't have effected his mind.

Uros would have been more effective then weak ass Aidoo🤷‍♂️

Peoples' own made up expectations failing them 😆

Hadden 2.0.

Sometimes folks can't just appreciate good players that are still very human.

OR maybe they could just let players progress and progress, sometimes slipping like anyone. You'd think they're dogging a rival's player sometimes. Just be a fan. Show up, support, and wave your damn pom poms. This message has been approved by @SweetasSoda
I’m usually pretty forgiving of players and try not to dog them out, but that one play by Hadden against the gators killed me. If being paid to throw a college football game is really a thing, that play would make a believer out of me. Worst lack of effort I’ve ever seen on a football field. Besides that play I appreciate how much he improved.

Most people don’t know enforcers in basketball are even a thing anymore and Uros helped me realize that. It’s obviously not Bad Boy Pistons Jordan Rules with Lambier trying to decapitate people but it’s very much still a thing, and very effective since it’s not used as much anymore.

Edey would’ve probably never had to deal with anyone doing the types of things Uros does in the paint. He’d absolutely have fouled out but the psychological impact on Edey’s game would’ve made a difference I’m sure

Exactly. Theys just some players their roles are to be the "tone setter" or "enforcer" and thats all. He would have made a difference with a few rebounds & with Edey's mental state.

Estrella wouldn't have budged Uros either so to the poster that said Uros wouldn't have made anymore difference that JP did must not know ball either. A true freshman over a Senior that's what 3-4in taller and 30-40lb heavier... give me Uros for that match up all day. JMO 🤷‍♂️

From what I've seen of posts here. Obviously don't follow them. The Onion already exists if I wanted parody. But mostly they just seem really cheesy.

Byron already brings 10x the number of dad jokes I will ever be able to absorb!
The Onion is garbage these days. Classic Onion I'll give you, but they are so lazy these days.

I can see why Mich St.would be but Arky is a bit questionable..Don’t understand the later because I wouldn’t call them a powerhouse.🤷‍♀️

Only thing I can guess is Arkansas has a fanbase that is passionate about basketball, and they’ve won a title before, proving it can be done there.

It’s honestly impressive Tennessee is so highly thought of despite never having made a Final Four. Shows many think there is still untapped potential.
