It’s hard to compete with teams who have the ability to knock down 3 ‘s trading for 2’s..our biggest flaw I’ve seen in all the Barnes years is his ability to shut down a 3 point shooting team guarding the perimeter on defense but on offense he’s passing too much and not allowing his work horses to score and actually get some rhythm.everyone is stationary all the time.stagnant offense.

Odd, all the time people laud our team's ability to move the ball. About how hard our scorers work to get open. I think its a rarity to have a team that can consistently drop threes or go inside out like UConn. They're just that good.

ESPN has Tennessee at #9 in the Way Too Early Top 25.

Duke was #1 of course but they have a top notch recruiting class coming in, led by Cooper Flagg. Larry Bird 2.0

Ive got a unique idea. This should be basis for new offense. Will confuse the ever loving **** out of people.

So having read this, I'm curious what you thought about the Hurley vs Oats game, if you watched it. (I didn't.) This sounds like a whole different level.

I think Hurley system is the best while Oats is the next best system…. i guess that when Barnes retires that we will have a coach that runs something similar to Oats.

Me too, but the LV handbag clenching blue hairs are one step away from hiring a hit man to take DW out. We might need to spend some NIL money on a protection detail and an undergrad to start Danny's car and taste his food for him.

Perfect example.our game against Kentucky and miss st earlier in the year i think they blew us out.both teams were giving their shooters the ability to get in rhythm and we had to respect the perimeter.after that they started working the post where Barnes earns his money.

it creates space on the floor and allows the bigs to get easier rebounds and put backs..that’s how this offense should be ran because he loves a dominant post man…our best years with Barnes was when he had grant using him the same way.grant flourished in space.

My daughters graze the outskirts of K-Pop. Was very pleased that this was the show we went to. Good band with good crowd and good vibe.

UConn plays a great brand of offensive basketball but they've won btb championships because they can absolutely put teams in a closet defensively. They've held btb championship game opponents to 60 points or less. That's their greatest strength. Without the ability to turn the screws defensively, they are just another Alabama who can put up points but can't get stops when it matters. You saw exactly what Edy is made of when he was challenged and then picked up a couple of fouls. He quit. UConn was content to let him get garbage baskets in the last 7 minutes but the rest of Purdue got squat. Further, Edy just gave up defensively. He got used over and over because he doesn't know how to play when he has fouls and can't play ogre defense.

I'll be doing this Sunday night. Taking my 9 yr old to see Home Free for his first concert. He loves them so I'm pumped just to be taking him, but Monday will suck
