i don’t think his system scores well in the tourney…. Even with an all time great…. we struggled to reach 70 in most games…. Having Edey would have been a lot of fun.
Odd, all the time people laud our team's ability to move the ball. About how hard our scorers work to get open. I think its a rarity to have a team that can consistently drop threes or go inside out like UConn. They're just that good. It’s hard to compete with teams who have the ability to knock down 3 ‘s trading for 2’s..our biggest flaw I’ve seen in all the Barnes years is his ability to shut down a 3 point shooting team guarding the perimeter on defense but on offense he’s passing too much and not allowing his work horses to score and actually get some rhythm.everyone is stationary all the time.stagnant offense.
ESPN has Tennessee at #9 in the Way Too Early Top 25.Every outlet except Yahoo has Tennessee basketball ranked in the top-10 for next season. Despite what we are losing and before we know who we are bringing in.
That's a serious level of respect.
This is what I read, and responded too.it’s the euro style of moving without the basketball…. I wish Rick Barnes would wake up one morning and decided he wanted to change to win a championship… Bring in a euro guy to update our offense…. UCONN held the rest of eddy’s teammates to 23 points… Amazing job.
So having read this, I'm curious what you thought about the Hurley vs Oats game, if you watched it. (I didn't.) This sounds like a whole different level.I didn’t say euro players…. I said euro style of play…. Here is an article that helps describe the transformation.
Dan Hurley's desire to adapt helped UConn evolve into an offensive juggernaut | FOX Sports
Two years ago, UConn coach Dan Hurley made a commitment to embracing offense with NCAA Tournament success in mind. Michael Cohen explains how Hurley's desire to adapt has helped transform UConn into an offensive juggernaut.www.foxsports.com
I think Hurley system is the best while Oats is the next best system…. i guess that when Barnes retires that we will have a coach that runs something similar to Oats.So having read this, I'm curious what you thought about the Hurley vs Oats game, if you watched it. Me too, but the LV handbag clenching blue hairs are one step away from hiring a hit man to take DW out. We might need to spend some NIL money on a protection detail and an undergrad to start Danny's car and taste his food for him.I hope, whenever Barnes decides to retire...hopefull a long time from now...we still have DW around to hire a Euro BB inspired coach like Hurley (and Oates). The potential with this style is hiiiigh

My daughters graze the outskirts of K-Pop. Was very pleased that this was the show we went to. Good band with good crowd and good vibe. You got lucky…. one of my daughters is into K-POP…. we went to a concert awhile back…One of the songs was I scream for Ice cream….. They changed some of the lyrics but the teenage girls was going crazy.
I'll be doing this Sunday night. Taking my 9 yr old to see Home Free for his first concert. He loves them so I'm pumped just to be taking him, but Monday will suckTook my two youngest daughters to a concert last light. A group called The Crane Wives. I am going to be a walking zombie today but they had such a good time it will be worth every single eyelid dragging second of this day.
