It’s the balance of his offense that makes it high powered and sets it apart from guys like Oats and Pearl who rely to heavy on the 3 ball, his guards are in constant motion after every iso screen. It’s actually very similar to some Ivy League offenses but tweaked.

Exactly, very balanced. Players are consistently moving around and it’s very slow paced. They also pay a high focus into defense. It’s just a perfect balance all around

Good summary, but I think this leaves out the benefits of the pace of play and movement that Uconn forced Purdue into. They specifically attacked Edey in the paint we largely did not. We forced Knecht to exhaust himself instead of exhausting our opponent.

UConn beat Bama by the average margin (14) that Tennessee twice beat Bama (20, 7). So, yeah.

The score of that game in no way reflected how competitive it actually was.

Not only no...but hell no. They are indeed great, a really well rounded and balanced team playing in a badly watered down era.

There are teams from back in the day that didn't even win the NC that would have stomped a hole in this squad...and I have been one of the loudest proclaiming how good they are this year.
