If he wants to be closer to home. Understand.I feel like we just got dumped with the classic, "It's not you it's me" line.
Very well said.Last season's basketball team was special. It hit its peak as a top # 5-6 type team. Very thankful for their efforts and will always remember them.
However, without Knecht last season's team may have been a major disappointment. Dalton showed us how a transfer can totally change the results of a team in one season.
As a result I am looking forward to seeing what our HOF coach can put together.
Barnes going to have to suck it up and uses some NIL this year. Either on some big time transfers or some McDonald’s all Americans. Roster going to need some scoring in a bad way.
I havent looked at UConn's recruiting. But, I did see its athletes. At some point you have to get more athletic. At every position. He’s gotta open the check book.
Little late on the latter... most everyone in the 2024 class is already signed. Unless we can rob some KY signees when/if they get released from their NIL.Barnes going to have to suck it up and uses some NIL this year. Either on some big time transfers or some McDonald’s all Americans. Roster going to need some scoring in a bad way.
So scholarship numbers now.... JJJ wasn't on scholarship so he's not included
Outgoing:
Knecht
Vescovi
Jefferson
Dilione
Awaka
Incoming:
Boswell
5 new faces incoming. 4 yet to be decided. Feels like Barnes can go all-in in the portal.
