Yep. UConn played fast and in control. We could play fast in spurts but JJJ and Vescovi slowed the game way down when the ball was in their hands.

I dont think you could blame them singularly. There were things they could do great, inside their skill sets. Ask them to go outside, and it wasnt happening.

UConn just had great athletes who were also great scorers.

Every outlet except Yahoo has Tennessee basketball ranked in the top-10 for next season. Despite what we are losing and before we know who we are bringing in.

Again, this misses the point of what I actually said. Not saying it's accurate or worthwhile. I'm saying it's a major sign of respect for the program that so many ranking sites expect us to start Top 10 regardless.

Color me naive, but I am inclined to give a team and coach that made it to the elite 8, that showcased the greatest portal transfer success EVER, and retained JJJ even with out a scholarship (thanks to NIL) to manage through this portal season.
