Awaka possibly got tampered and/or wanted to play closer to home..but what is the deal with Aidoo and especially Mashack?? The latter is kinda baffling..first I’ve heard of this..If it’s about playing time, he’s getting more of that next year..better offer, closer to home..I’m confused! 🤯

Someone posted the Kerbyson summary that they looked light and not feared. It is accurate i have also read positive reports on Pili. I summarized in my mind as meh. Not a standout group, but hopefully not a liability. The d line should cover a lot of flaws anyway.

I have changed my mind a little on our NIL. I don’t think it’s quite as bad as I once thought. I still think like you. Why can’t we get any big time billionaires to publicly announce helping the schools they like?

In all fairness, KK is a former OL. I like him but does he really know how to evaluate a LB? That would be like asking a TE to evaluate a safety.

Fair. I have not heard anyone rave about the LB corp other than Pili. You mentioned Telander, and in his defense, I may have glanced past that. Just my observation. Pick your description.

I believe we're really good at NIL for football. I think we're being outbid for our own players when it comes to basketball. Teams are tampering, and no one seems to care. Rick is developing guys, only for other teams to try and buy them away. It's happened with Awaka. Aidoo and Mashack are thinking about it. Supposedly, even ZZ has received an offer, though no one thinks he'll take it. A mega booster in basketball is what we need.
