April 30, 1945
As Soviet troops entered the heart of Belin, Hitler committed suicide on April 30, 1945, in his underground bunker. Although there is some speculation about the manner of his death, it is widely believed that he shot himself. Eva Braun, whom he had recently married, also took her own life. According to his wishes, both bodies were burned and buried. Almost immediately, however, conspiracy theories began. The Soviets initially claimed that they were unable to confirm Hitler’s death and later spread rumors that he was alive. According to subsequent reports, however, the Soviets recovered his burnt remains, which were identified through dental records. Hitler’s body was secretly buried before being exhumed and cremated, with the ashes scattered in 1970.

or................did he die?????

LeBron wouldn't have been able to make it forty in previous incarnations of the NBA. Just like Tom Brady would have never made it to forty if he played in a earlier era NFL. Both played in a era where they were wrapped in bubble rap and marked "Fragile, handle with care."

The dude drove to the paint for 20 straight years lol. Not like he shot 3s and jump shots.

The other side is playing against mailmen and accountants. He would have clobbered those duds from the 80s and early 90s. Threw them aside like children.

I was one of them, I have not watched except occasionally an NBA game since "the Jordan Rules." I personally don't think either Michael or LeBron is the best of all time. I think the best basket player of all time is Larry Bird. And I was a Sixers fan. He was the best in an era that was the toughest and most competitive time in the NBA.

So you've rarely watched the NBA in the last...20-30 years? 😅

Classic VNism when talking NBA. "The modern NBA is terrible...let me tell ya all about it...and that's why I haven't watched it since Bird!"

Problem is today's youth believe he is the goat.
Why is that a problem to anyone? Tons disagree all the time, some old, many young. I remember people laughing at MJ fanboys as a kid.

It's temporarily generational and everything shifts over time anyway. Gen Alpha probably thinks Wemba is already the goat lol

I'm 56 and I've followed American sports my whole life. I've never seen a great player so universally reviled as Lebron James. I really can't make sense of it. I know he has a big ego and made media missteps through the years. But come on -- Nobody has a bigger ego than Michael Jordan. Great players and leaders are wired like that.

He's a family oriented man who gives back to his community. He raised two sons with the same woman -- go read about the sexual exploits of 80's and 90's NBA stars.

Disclaimer: I'm a numbers-oriented person who thrives on player stats. I have many NBA/NFL/MLB records memorized. Statistically, Lebron just doesn't have an equal. His ranking in several categories is historic and may outlive us all. There's no reason to argue that point.

I need somebody to explain the hatred for this guy. What is it about Lebron that gets SO many people riled up?
Hahahaha I despise Tom Brady, but I respect his talent. I don't like LeBron either, but I respect his talent. LeBron lovers like to talk about him or his stats like he is the Tom Brady of basketball. He is not. There is not a planet where you can make a case he is. He is a great player with a long career, and he is also a polarizing figure. I respect he may be a good dad, but I am not going to admire his handling of Bronny's career because it smells of the same nepotism I dislike anywhere else. I have no clue about his marriage nor do I care.

I said point guard not shooting guard. He played the 1. The main job of a point guard is to penetrate and distribute, not knock down 3's ZZ is a point guard.
As for the Italic, I have no earthly idea what you're talking about, Karl Malone?

Magic was a point guard. A 6'9" point guard who played 1-5 throughout his career, unheard of at the time. If his career wasn't cut short he probably would have gone down as the best ever.
Magic is my all-time favorite One of the first players I truly followed and I still consider him the best ever (acknowledging that his career was cut short). LA lost that series against Detroit because Magic sat.

His social media presence has done him no favors, that's for sure. Social/Traditional media and celebrity expectations to take a stand on social issues makes it tough to fly under the radar. Everybody's laundry and opinion are on full display. Hell, our most important and influential president had a lesbian wife, several mistresses, and was paralyzed from the waste down and the public was none the wiser. That's leaps and bounds from where we sit today.

Molding a roster to fit your objectives is a long-standing tradition with NBA superstars. It precedes Lebron by decades. Bird, Magic, Jordan, Thomas, et al all had a strong say in personnel decisions.

It does seem to be envogue to beatup Lebron. Bashing politicians, athletes, and celebrities is a disturbing trend. If I had any sort of public presence, I'd try like Hell to keep my mouth and keyboard quiet.
Had he twitter, the moment MJ tweeted in the 90s, the things he's said and acted on since 2016, he probably would've been disregarded by a portion of the population like happens today to "loud black athletes".

I do watch it but not like I used to. And I am kinda like an executive or the President now when it comes to sports that I am not really thrilled with. I have expert advisors whose opinions I value and trust. I stay informed.

It’s the bronsexuals that make everyone dislike LeBron. They like to argue that he is the goat but consistently move the goal posts to justify why he is. If they weren’t so loud, I think people would hate on LeBron as much.

Talking about Deion and why he left in the portal essentially …talking about how he wants to play for a team that isn’t playing for clicks or “clout” …like Deion did all last year …kid isn’t lying and I feel like he was treated harshly by prime..
So why does that make teams not want to pursue him?

They haven’t played really physical basketball like they did back then. It’s the same argument in football. You think Brady makes until like 44 if he played in the 80s ir 90s? Back when defensive players could actually hit you?

As great as Lebron is, he is soft. He complains a lot and gets away with tons of travels and flops.
