We've never been this good at so many sports in decades. We have a lot of other stuff to talk about until football and major recruiting dates.

4 years ago we'd all be handwringing over recruiting or arguing about 60 things and instead we are enjoying the times.

I understand why people want to talk about these things. What I don’t get is why such a diverse range of topics need to be discussed under the theme of “Football Talk”.

I personally think he is misremembering. I have been around a good while and a ton of those folks who were around then are still around now.
