Oh that kinda sucks. I thought it was just fans in attendance ordering shots. I mean, it all goes to a good cause so I say its fair.

On that note, Spyre should spend NIL budget on ordering shots to break LSU's record of 68,888.

Funny thing is half of the FSU thread was talking how it should've been a 6 or 7 run lead if they hadn't made errors lol. They were PISSED the commentators were saying we were the ones that shot ourselves in the foot haha

The other ~half of the thread was dedicated to talking how ESPN and NCAA...especially refs... are bought by the SEC...😅🤣

Then a solid 10% dedicated to how much they HATE "that whiny UT head coach" ...before long they'll have rumors about giving him a strong ass offer I'm sure 😏

The person that said it could be wrong, but if you really think about it, if the CWS winner won without losing a game, that would be what 6 games…I think?

Divide 68,888 by 6 games, that 11k shots per game. We had a little over 3900.

I find it hard to believe any team, and I mean any team out drinking us by 8k in a single day, ESPECIALLY when UT is doing well

Lolol, so today we went to a kids day at the local community college, and while I (white) was waiting for my daughter (white) to go down the bouncy slide, two boys (white) went down. Well the guy (black) working the event points to the boys and says, "Are they twins?" and I looked at him, shrugged and said, "All them white kids look the same."

He LOST IT. This man was in tears. We chatted and I clarified they weren't my kids. Then he remembered we were the parents of the cute little curly-headed girl.

Anyway, this gif reminded me of that and it made me laugh again. It was a gamble but it landed😂

To be fair though those fans are there the entire tournament and breaks between games. Plus the final series is best of three. So it could be like 12 days. So at 12 days that's 5,700 roughly per day.

You could also have a high roller just buy a shots for the house back to back and be in person.

Who knows.

At the end of the day, it’s fun so it doesn’t matter to me, now if what that guy says is true about a booster buying it all, then its a meh competition, but again it’s about having fun and I’m glad the fans there are having a great time

@85SugarVol I don’t think it works that way…. I think you have to qualify for a position and the only positions that he qualifies for is second and possibly utility… That position typically goes to a pitcher/hitter combo.
