Yeah that’s why I separated a realist like you from a general pessimist like me. I don’t think I’m incapable of seeing positives, I’m just very aware of counters to every positive. Almost like I over analyze everything. I think history courses kind of did that to me. I liked trying to see where things could go wrong in most major moments in history I’ve studied. What if that Soviet commander didn’t realize there was a system malfunction when it was telling him the US was nuking the USSR in 1983 kind of thing. (Yes that really happened, we all almost got wiped out that day.)

I do the same thing...but I almost always include a "but"...because I can see how good things could happen and reasons for reasonable optimism.

The fans outside of the stadium… no one really cared that SCar fans were there, it was just sort of “oh hey, welcome to Knoxville” was pretty cordial from what I saw. They probably were hoping for some flack for being Cock fans, but… you don’t matter Chickens.

How does that work out for you when you get annihilated 63-38 and ruins the first shot at a title we've had in 25 years?

To be honest, Tennessee is usually one of the friendlier environments to visiting fans.. at least from watching interactions when im in Knoxville compared to away games I’ve been to. we don’t really bother away fans before or after games.
