Bro!..he sucks under pressure with anyone on base..has zero tricks in his bag..scouting report strictly says.”curveball pitcher” and more times than not leaves one hanging over the zone and it’s sent to the moon or a RBI…great kid and appreciate what he’s done for the vols but a spade is a spade😂😂 I’d give anything to have Redmond Walsh Back in this World Series run versus Kirby…night and day difference..Redmond was cold blooded under pressure

Kirby is literally known as one of the very best under pressure. That’s why they go to him in those situations.

This is one of the worst takes I’ve seen on this site in quite awhile

Ask the star gazers since they think the recruiting services are “always right.”
I’ve always seen their useful quantity, but as a consensus of gathered data from true evaluators like coaching staffs…not as the ultimate SOURCE. Gazers will never convince me that virgin nerds dispensing shiny stars have any significant insight into a player’s potential other than their communication with actual coaches and teachers. They’re a glorified database.

While I think its harder to play a ball in CF tailing in other direction for a right hander...

Playing a tailing ball, especially in a deep park is so hard I cant imagine the level of concentration it took to lose a step, have to make up that ground on a tailing ball, knowing the wall was out there...just phenomenal effort. On an island by himself. Not knowing if left fielder was there...I mean he ran full speed, and didnt care... and still held on.

Insane.

However, -1 point for not Bo Jacksoning the catch spikes up on the wall. Cmon man. Do better.

Are we still virgin nerds, if the paternity tests show positive?

I mean, amirite?IMG_7318.gif

Here you go. Baseball should use Wood bats at all levels of the sport.

Makes zero sense to use Aluminum bats through LL, HS and College just to get a Wood bat handed to you when you start in Minor League baseball.

Yes I know everyone doesn't play professionally.

I can agree but not everyone has the money to replace a wooden bat every time it breaks. I can see college going to wooden bats but at the same time very few colleges could replace a wooden bat ever other week

Or...we should combat pitchers throwing historically harder than ever by allowing professionals the use of aluminum bats!

To be honest, I don't advocate people dying from getting hit by a missile off the metal bat of a major leaguer. Which I do think would happen.

However, the pitching velocity is terrible for MLB in my opinion. Way to many injuries by pitchers chasing extra velocity and a boring product to watch overall. Limited action.

Third Base would be a graveyard for players if MLB used Aluminum bats. Plus they would still be waiting for balls to land if Judge, Ohtani, Acuna amongst others used Aluminum.

HS's already have wooden bat tourneys. Perhaps its travel ball, cannot recall.

It does if you want to keep people interested in baseball.

One of my go to Dad jokes

@drvenner 👀

Waiter walks up and asks patron, who is eating.

'Are you finished?'

'No, i'm Danish.'

Good morning winners.
Glad I have VPN or I wouldnt have been able to watch the game last night. ESPN preferred cricket over TN in Barbados. ESPN hates TN.

Very cool of the NC St fan, but at least sit down. Those poor Vol fans behind you spent 80 jellos shots for those seats.
