Personally more worried about us on the road than any of the home games except Georgia. We show up, with how the rest of the SEC has looked I think we can beat anyone...but this year's game in the Swamp and last year's game in Colombia don't really give me the warm fuzzes about the road games. At Bama is a Loss until it isn't, don't think many will argue with me there...I just don't want at Kentucky or even at Missouri to be games where the team has a lapse in focus.

Being a public figure begets scrutiny, justified or not. Kamal is not going to fix all the idiots in the world by tweeting. Do you know how dumb the average person is? Half are dumber than that. If you put 100,000 human beings mixed from any race, class, religion, ethnic group in a bowl there are going to be plenty of bad apples. Its just math. Hope Kamal balls out the rest of the year and good luck in future endeavors.

I mean sure, if you wanna live in delusional land...

It's going to be a few years of sustained success before the Vol Nation fanbase returns to full sunshine pumper mode and honestly with how the Barnes era has gone I'm not even sure we'll ever truly return to that type of narrative. But a player thinking them tweeting about the poor behavior of drunk fans voicing their opinions is going to change anything is just unrealistic.

It's delusional to believe that it's not too much to ask our fan base to offer polite applause at the introduction? That's kinda pathetic and lacks basic decency. Suggests that some of what others say about our fan base is true.

And to be consistent they should have booed the pick 6, but everyone seemed pretty jazzed about that.

Kamal has improved this year and doesn't need any boos directed his way. The guy is out there doing the best he can. If banks had a player better to supplant him, then he would be playing another DB. Just enjoy the ride.

I don't know man, we have a lot of very vocal idiots in our fanbase, @mr.checkerboards post history showcases they exist.

Even the basketVOLs have them and despite what Barnes has built and how great of an ambassador JJJ has been for that program that guy gets all sorts of negative heat from OUR fans. It is what it is, but if you figure out a way to quiet them then please do it...I stopped attending games in person because of having to hear drunk orange clad idiots yelling all sorts of ridiculousness.

Just thankful the game I took my son we were in a good section, but it was also an early game against a cupcake.

May not be a blue blood but not a Georgia or Vandy either...CRB has turned Tennessee into a very competitive team each year..BTW ranked #9 preseason not too shabby for not being a blue blood...

Seemed pretty consistent and dominant in the game I mentioned. . . aside from 1 long run and maybe a couple others plays.

Really missing Pili on those long runs. Telander and Carter are having to play more snaps a lot earlier than planned . Off week should help out a lot for those 2

Part of being a football school, hell even Tony V was catching heat last year because they weren't winning every game.

It's annoying, the majority of our fans aren't tweeting at players every time they get upset about a play and they aren't booing our guys either... but everyone always focuses on the negative moments.

I think more players need to ditch social media completely.

Dislike. We shouldn’t be booing our own players. Fans should fix it. Stop booing. We’re 4-1 not 1-4. The reaction to this season by our fanbase has been dumb, and it’s not a good look for recruits either.

Since I was four, that's as far back as I can remember, it has been like that. That Dr. Pepper commercial where the fans lose it after the first play of the game really nails it. But the same booers will cheer like fools when something good happens. Saw it myself on Sat. A fan behind me was booing his brains out when Hadden was introduced and screaming, jumping and high fiving on his pick-six like it was his own son.

@butchna looks like Cowboys getting respect from oddsmakers.only -3.5 at San Francisco...odd only half point more than standard home field advantage..

A testament to that defense, which showed the matchup difficulty with Dobbs and Arizona was a one-off. AND the much maligned Dak isn’t getting the ball into the end zone but he is extending drives and (most importantly) taking care of the football, which in today’s franchise QB market positively makes him a bargain at $30 mil plus…quote me! In a tale of the tape between them and the Niners, the defenses are push, QBs are push and offense advantage Niners slightly with McCaffery.

I was...angry...when he bumped the UF running back rather than wrapping him up and I sincerely hope that the coaches ripped him a new one for that. I felt like that play changed the MO and may well have cost us the game.

With that said, clap politely at home game intros, or frown sternly if you must, but never boo your own starters.
