Some people are built different, Nolan was one of those. Also, he didn't have the wear and tear early in life from playing travel ball age 5-16.
Nolan was my idol when I was pitching as a kid in the late 80's/early 90's. There were several reasons for his longevity. He had great mechanics using his legs and hips along with his shoulders. He also only had 3 pitches- fastball, curveball, and a circle change. He did not torque his elbow throwing his curveball. He slightly changed his grip and adjusted his wrist angle, which prevented stress on the elbow. Unbelievable pitcher and competitor.

For those interested, watch this 3 minute video.

Does not belong in the same sentence with the others. Kiss is horrible. I didn't realize how horrible until someone pointed it out and I paid attention next time I heard them. They are shockingly bad.
Greatest live band ever. Seen them 10 times and never been disapointed.

Now....The current line-up (age as well)....probably not what they used to be, but I'll be 6th row, center isle, in 3 weeks!

Surprisingly, KSU, Memphis, and SD have only lost to Mizzou, they're all 3 undefeated otherwise.

MTSU and Vandy only have 3 wins between them, but still, they're schedule has arguably been equal to or harder than ours up to this point. They're definitely improved.
Saw Cook had like 385 yards and 5 TDs (iirc) Saturday....Milton hasn't had that kind of game against anybody, no matter how crappy they are.

I know play-calling is different...but still.

Well, you obviously haven't been to Sarasota, Pinellas, or Hillsborough lately. The only fans at the game yesterday were the blue hairs. The rest of us were working. Also, without a good downtown to support walk up ticket's the game was always going to be poorly attended unless at night.
The only problem is that radio this morning said that their average crowd this year has been 17,000. So, they got more than their average. It is just a different town with a bunch of transplants, and it was also discussed that the location in St. Pete isn't the most convenient.

It's a bummer no one asked Heupel today about Dee Williams. I know he shot down the idea of moving him to WR a few weeks ago, but things have changed and it definitely seems like a no brainer from the outside looking in.

I guess the downside is that the juice may not be worth the squeeze if this is going to be his last season.
They need to stick Ethan Davis in Bru's spot and see how he does.

I was talking about Miami......but...........I get it.
I get it but I get a little annoyed when people beat on us Rays fans. It is a bad situation in a dangerous area of St Pete. The new plans will make it a destination with new hotels, restaurants, parking, shops. The Lightning and Bucs sell out always, even when terrible. Baseball has bigger issues than the Rays. Even their flagship teams have many open seats during the season.

We are looking at a QB battle between Nico and Merklinger next season. Do any of you all believe we will seek a transfer portal QB for next season if nothing else to make the competition more fierce and to provide another option at QB. Nico is a skinny guy and Merk would be one play away from going in, which is hard for a true freshman in the SEC. Any potential transfer portal QBs you guys could see leaving their school after this season? I think we should get some O-line help, and another QB TBH. It’ll be interesting to see.

They need to stick Ethan Davis in Bru's spot and see how he does.
I think Thornton is probably the closest thing to a natural fit we have for a plug-in replacement for Bru. Put Thornton outside, move Dee Williams into the slot behind Squirrel and maybe Webb. Even if all he can do is block, run a bubble screen, and maybe a jet sweep. He is so dynamic in space I think he would at least see the field, given the depth we have at DB and don't have at WR.

And who knows, I think he had a Covid year. Let him build on it next year if he's gonna stick around.

We are so deep with average players at corner, just feels like a waste. He's probably running scout team rn.

And yet the crowd booed him when they introduced the starters. Toxic indeed.
I never boo my team. Never have. Doesn’t make sense to me.

With that said, I know Hadden is having a good year in pass defense, but that pathetic “attempt” at a tackle in the florida game was just inexcusable to me. I still can’t wrap my head around it.

What about Beth or Heavens on Fire...All Hell's Breaking Loose...

I'm mostly giving y'all a hard time. I liked them ok as a kid but listening to them with adult ears is rough. They were all show and that's fine but I don't think they belong anywhere near Black Sabbath or any of the legit 70s bands.
