I really think that Edey pick was horrible. No idea what that GM was thinking but leads me to believe I could be an NBA GM, and I know very little about the ins and outs of basketball. I'm just a casual fan, but I know I could have made a better pick.

Yes, I don't see him being more than a role playee.

You think he'll get all the no-calls in the NBA that he got in college? I have a hard time seeing that happening.

As a Vol, I really really hate the pick...As a Grizz fan, I'm okay with it. Ja brings out the best of everyone around him, so it should work well

Edey doesn’t fit in Grizzlies offense. They like to go fast. They will be playing a man down on offense waiting for Edey to walk up court.

I realize people probably see DK as a guy that cannot repeat in the NBA the same way i think Edey can't. I have a bias, no doubt, but i know he was the most electric player I have seen in college in a decade. Maybe I am as wrong about DK as I am about Edey, but I don't think so.

The NBA is much more physical than college ball so yes

Defense is punishing him. He needs more time to anchor in. Just 6 months with an elite D coach can take a guy from D to B-...he has the athleticism and want...just needs time.

Edit: and age. Notice how many are freshman, D leaguers, and overseas young cats.
