Yep, only time I ever even think about the people who basically raised me is when Karo Syrup is mentioned. That and peanut butter, honey, Southern style potato salad, cigarettes (I don't but they did), Makers Mark and Eagle Rare, the Army, any major life decisions, daily random thoughts about how they would have reacted to something one of my kids does, seeing my son's resemblance to my Grandpa, looking at pics, seeing my grandfather's initialed wallet from the early 1940's on my dresser and especially the love of the Vols that they instilled in me.

Geez I need to find more time to think about and miss them, lol.
Ciggies and Makers Mark. You had one hell of an upbringing 😁 I could hardly watch TV past 8:30, not even a cig or drink in hand haha

This sounds like something I would like and will have to try. I make grilled cheese for me and my kids all the time but I usually put mayo on after cooking in butter or vegetable oil spread. I add pepperoni or some kind of quality deli meat between the pieces of cheese.

I also use a mixture of a piece of American with either a piece of Pepperjack or Chipotle Gouda, depending on what I have at the time. I will sometimes add a tomato slice, an onion slice or some sauted mushrooms after cooking. Pretty bourgeois for a grilled cheese but they taste amazing.

I do a similar process for homemade quesadillas using a burrito sized tortilla. Super quick and easy and also taste better than Taco Bell and even some Mexican restaurants. Way cheaper too.

I know...I checked out a outfit in Silverton that rents OHVs when we stayed in the campground there..I'm trying to get all my kids to commit to a week doing that someday. I've watched about a million vids on those roads through the San Juans...really excited about doing that.

I love Ridgeway...I bet that is an awesome place to summer.
Imogene Pass is one of my favorites. It starts on the south side of Ouray and ends in Telluride, a bit of a drive back to Ouray, then Silverton. Animas forks, outside Silverton is nice and easy and short, some folks do it in a car, but you could lose a tire. Silverton’s a beautiful place to camp. My camping, backpacking days are over. I now camp in a hotel room.

When I was a young boy, one of my grandmas lived just 4-500 yards up the road from me and I loved her oatmeal pies. She called one morning and told me she would make me a couple of them if we had a jar of the clear Karo corn syrup and if I ran it up to her. I got the jar and headed up the road. But I loved that stuff so much that I stopped and "drank" about 2/3 of that bottle before I even reached her house. Then I stopped again maybe 50 yds from her house and finished it off! I threw the now empty bottle up in the woods. She asked me when I got there where the Karo syrup was so I lied and told her I dropped the bottle along the road and it broke lol. If I didn't know better, I would swear this is what caused my now 49 yr history of type 1 diabetes!

Grilled pimento cheese sandwiches are awesome!

This has convinced me you just like to drink strange things. Breast milk, karo syrup, what's next?

Caleb says OU isn’t happy with Venables (OU just gave Venables a big money contract extension like a week and half ago). He also compares it to Dooley at UT even tho BV just won 10 games.

Are these guys drunk?
Trolls. What was the novel term for click baiting the other day? Engagement farming.
