I’m higher on Poch than most, it seems.
I’m a little biased. As a Chelsea fan, I just endured Poch ball for the last year and that’s not a roller coaster I want to get back on at this point 😅 We produced a lot of chances and were top half of the league in goals scored, but the defense was Swiss cheese. It was like watching an imitation Josh Heupel offense that’s good but not great but paired with a Sal Sunseri defense.

United cant score a goal. But can bunt rhe ball over.

Someone in SC owes the Beamers a **** ton of money. Or they have some serious dirt. No way that clown gets a job anywhere else, they're perfect for one another!
No kidding, that guy just looks like a lifelong gamecock. He's exactly like the only two gamecock fans I've met in my lifetime. You're right, they are a perfect fit.

Like everyone else, I thought @bignewt was being a giant a**hole the other day, as well...we all know what im talking about...

However, with that said, im in full agreement with him, and have always been, as it pertains to using that stupid bullsh!t "natty" term. All of you who say it, keep in mind, you look and sound like that Texas d-bag in the clip. Congratulations.
You’re allowed a few overreactions…there’s one.

That’s fair.

Not to mention that Poch has a knack for letting trophies slip thru his fingers. Like losing to Klopp’s Kids in the Carabao Cup. Klopp was handling him a trophy and he couldn’t win it.

I’ll bite. It doesn’t hurt because we needed him specifically, but because we’re still not recruiting at a level where we can afford for our top rated guys to be busts. We need those guys to pan out to keep the pressure on to continue elevating our talent and level of play. Not nicking, but really disappointed. I thought a couple years with the right diet and weigh training would make him a solid rotational player. We’ll never find out.
Disappointed 💯

Penn State is really questionable, but if you include them, you have to include us. We have more titles, a much longer track record of success, several national championship coaches, and a similar level of brand awareness and distinction.
Penn State has beaten Tennessee 3 of the 5 games they have played. Tennessee has as much right to be in the blue blood category as PennState. However, the period after Flumer and before Heupel, was not in the blue blood tradition.

The whole Klopps kids narrative was blown out of proportion, IMO. There was some truth in it but at no point during the course of the game did Liverpool have a squad that was younger in average age than Chelsea did. I forget the actual number but Chelsea were top 5 in all of Europe for youngest average squad age. The media also liked to ignore that Chelsea had the most injuries of all the teams in the PL last year and had been without their top captain and vice captain, plus other key players most of the year and in that game.

The difference where I can understand the Klopps kids angle was that Chelsea was a young squad but they had time to gel and play together after their key injuries. Liverpool had just encountered their injury situation so less time for the young guys to gel. So that part of that narrative is fair, but the academy kids that played were also well versed in Klopps system. So, hard to know what the net positive / net negative was between the teams. JMO.
