I have alot of thoughts about that young lady’s performance and some I posted hastily. She’s been humbled, humiliated on a public stage. I wish her well. I musta missed something in your exchange. Yeah. I had no idea who that was when I made that post. I’ve never heard of her before. I just listened to the video and made that post. I meant it as a joke, but I admit it was in poor taste. If she’s struggling with addiction, I wish her the best.

Waiting for the inflammation of my pancreas to subside so the drs can perform surgery. Hopefully tomorrow……the pain is unbearable.

I can't sleep, we go to tour UTMartin tomorrow. My daughter will be a senior this year. She wants to go into the vet school at UTK. Two of the vets that we work with went to UTK and they recommended she go to either Martin for pre vet or second choice Tenn Tech. Then UTK Veterinary School in order to save money.......

This is so very stressful for us. My daughter has worked very hard to put herself into a situation where this is even possible. You can't imagine how proud I am....... And scared. Next year we will be helping her transition into the next phase of her life. She's nervous, I'm a wreck.... Just holding it together on the surface so she doesn't sense my apprehension. My little girl will not be under my roof and not within a few minutes for me to rescue her.

I m not ready, I certainly hope she is!

ESPN Top 100 athletes of the 21st century

Tamika Catchings at 34

Candace Parker at 60

Peyton Manning at 26 and Simone Biles at 7, only 2 spots behind Tom Brady, the unanimous GOAT QB (not mine). Disney agenda pushing hard with this BS list.

Edit: Phelps was amazing but a swimmer over the top basketball and football players of their generation (and arguably all-time) is crazy. He also didn't have nearly the comparative competition that many sports greats have had, even in individual sports.

Speaking of which.... Serena, who had very little competition that belonged on the court with her, being ranked so highly and over previously mentioned athletes but especially being ranked over Federer/Nadal/Novak who are all in the running for greatest tennis player of all time, have very similar or better career accomplishments as Serena and had to fight against each other for most of their careers to accomplish what they did is nuts.

What all-time greats did Serena have to beat while dominating women's tennis? Her older sister was the best and Venus fell off the top level fairly early in her career and nobody stepped up to an all-time elite level until very recently. Serena is basically the Wilt Chamberlain of tennis who was physically in a different class than her contemporaries.

Aaron Donald above Manning? Seriously!? No baseball players anywhere near the top.

Also, it's a 21st century award and Shaq and Tim Duncan are rated as highly as they are despite much of their production, especially Shaq's, taking place in the 20th century!?

I can't believe I clicked on that hack network's progressive garbage "reporting" list and got as worked up as I did. My mistake but I'm so sick of the agenda-pushing taking place in all walks of life. I'm surprised that they didn't find a way to give Bruce "Caitlyn"Jenner some honorary "most courageous athlete of the 21st century" BS award.

I hate our current society and all the women and minorities being unfairly propped up over more deserving athletes should piss off those women and minorities if they are true competitors who want to be judged on merit instead of insane progressive political reasons and the white guilt being shoved down American's throats. It doesn't change any previous injustices by creating new ones and equality will never truly be achieved until we move past this crap and judge on ability and accomplishment within the context of the competition level faced. Being anything other than white or a man should not boost your ranking over a more deserving male or white athlete.

Angry middle aged white man rant over. Hope someone without an agenda who is rich enough will start buying the rights to sporting events and put ESPN out to pasture, especially when they used to be major contributors to the perpetration of unfair treatment of minority athletes.

Barristan the Bold was a bad man, but I would pick Arthur Dayne, "The Sword of the Morning". Oops, you said living, yeah, I might as well give you that $10. Maybe, The Hound, just because of his size and strength, plus Selmy is really old. I would have said The Mountain, but technically, he's not living. Maybe, Areo Hotah. Damn, I'm reaching and obviously a nerd

Arthur Dayne was on my mind when I posted. Robert Baratheon in his prime was supposedly unstoppable and his strength to use a warhammer in battle would shatter shields, cave in armor and knock swords flying out of their wielder's hands (events in the fight with Rhaegar Targaryen are muddled but he was supposed to be fantastic and trained with Dayne and Selmy as his Kingsguard). Dayne and Robert, followed by Selmy are the most legendary fighters of the more "modern" GoT era.

I actually might pick Prince Oberyn "The Viper" Martell of Dorne over any of them in a fight. He was a bad man who could get between armor plates in the right spots with his spear. I hated when he died while goading The Mountain when he had him beat. Styles make fights and he could possibly have beaten any swordsman with a spear that could withstand sword strikes or having multiple spears available to him...plus he wasn't above poisoning his blade which would have a greater impact on the more normal sized humans. Not sure how he would have fared against a young Robert and the power/reach of his hammer, though.

Agreed totally that The Hound also might beat them all or possibly even Brienne of Tarth based on a combo of skill/size/strength/ferocity. Brienne beat The Hound but she was 100% and he was far from it at the time.

Other runners up: Arya Stark (for obvious reasons), Khal Drogo if not fighting arrogantly, Jaime Lannister (pre-amputation) and Daario Noharis. All lethal fighters. No shortage of bad asses in GoT and throw in some of the older Stark line, Daemon Targaryen, Maegor the Cruel, Criston Cole with his flail, Ser Duncan The Tall, Bloodraven with his swordsmanship and "abilities" before he became Bran's predecessor as The Three Eyed Raven and Daemon Blackfyre that rebelled for his claim to the throne and eventually founded the Gold Company.

A Soul Calibur or Mortal Kombat style video game with GoT characters using their chosen weapons would be amazing to play. Throw in Jon Snow with a move where Ghost attacks from behind and pins the opponent for good measure.

Also great baseball program, some other decent sports programs, used to be pretty good in basketball while UT was down and each league and now super conference has one or more Ivey League level schools like Northwestern and Stanford.

I want UVA, NC State, maybe UNC and we might as well grab Clemson even though they aren't a major value add. I also wouldn't mind WVU as they fit Southeast culture and are pretty good across the board in most sports. VA Tech just doesn't seem needed if we added UVA and would directly recruit against us. Louisville would bring some value but is unnecessary. Leave VT and Louisville to join the weakened BIG 12 with all the other ACC schools nobody wants and the UCF, Memphis and Cincinnati type schools.
