I understand Tiger Woods is one of the greatest of all time in Golf but it's really sad to see him struggling like he has the last few years.
I’ve never been a Tiger fan, but I agree with you. Watching him live and up close in his prime was a real treat. His ability to shape shots and flight his trajectory is unmatched in history.

I can only imagine how difficult it is for him to come to grips with reality.

I was a pretty decent player and it’s difficult to accept that age and injuries don’t allow me to do anything close to what I want to do anymore. What he’s dealing with is on a different scale.

I’m honored to have been able to witness his greatness and splendor.

I’m hoping that the end of his career is focused on being an ambassador to this great game…….

You think Tiger stays around to play alongside his son Charlie?

Sending good thoughts to Peaygolf today!

Peay, let us know what's going on with you..
Inflammation is down some, so they should be able to do the surgery this afternoon.

Appreciate the thoughts.

One of the best things about VN is that we genuinely care about each other. I don’t take that for granted.

Never was a big Tiger fan either but like you said you have to respect his greatness.

Errrr……Charlie is a really good player, but he ain’t no tour player.

Unless Tiger wants to play on the “JC Goosie Space Coast Tour,” they are only going to play together back home in their Member/Member.

That leg injury is a really hard one to overcome. His biggest issue is that he can't play enough tournament rounds to give his game a chance to get back into a competitive form. The guy just can't handle walking the course that much. I think he had a few more wins left in him before that wreck. I know he's not really competitive, but I'm still impressed with what he's done considering the circumstances.

Peyton Manning at 26 and Simone Biles at 7, only 2 spots behind Tom Brady, the unanimous GOAT QB (not mine). Disney agenda pushing hard with this BS list.

Edit: Phelps was amazing but a swimmer over the top basketball and football players of their generation (and arguably all-time) is crazy. He also didn't have nearly the comparative competition that many sports greats have had, even in individual sports.

Speaking of which.... Serena, who had very little competition that belonged on the court with her, being ranked so highly and over previously mentioned athletes but especially being ranked over Federer/Nadal/Novak who are all in the running for greatest tennis player of all time, have very similar or better career accomplishments as Serena and had to fight against each other for most of their careers to accomplish what they did is nuts.

What all-time greats did Serena have to beat while dominating women's tennis? Her older sister was the best and Venus fell off the top level fairly early in her career and nobody stepped up to an all-time elite level until very recently. Serena is basically the Wilt Chamberlain of tennis who was physically in a different class than her contemporaries.

Aaron Donald above Manning? Seriously!? No baseball players anywhere near the top.

Also, it's a 21st century award and Shaq and Tim Duncan are rated as highly as they are despite much of their production, especially Shaq's, taking place in the 20th century!?

I can't believe I clicked on that hack network's progressive garbage "reporting" list and got as worked up as I did. My mistake but I'm so sick of the agenda-pushing taking place in all walks of life. I'm surprised that they didn't find a way to give Bruce "Caitlyn"Jenner some honorary "most courageous athlete of the 21st century" BS award.

I hate our current society and all the women and minorities being unfairly propped up over more deserving athletes should piss off those women and minorities if they are true competitors who want to be judged on merit instead of insane progressive political reasons and the white guilt being shoved down American's throats. It doesn't change any previous injustices by creating new ones and equality will never truly be achieved until we move past this crap and judge on ability and accomplishment within the context of the competition level faced. Being anything other than white or a man should not boost your ranking over a more deserving male or white athlete.

Angry middle aged white man rant over. Hope someone without an agenda who is rich enough will start buying the rights to sporting events and put ESPN out to pasture, especially when they used to be major contributors to the perpetration of unfair treatment of minority athletes.
I mean it is not that Phelps or Serena didn't have any competition, they just were that much better. Same as Tiger. Isn't that kinda the point of the list?

I think Biles at 7 is a bit high, she's had great success at the World games but her 4 Olympic golds is 2nd in US history for gymnastics (men & women) and her total Olympic medal count has her well outside the top 100 all-time list.

Phelps though stands at the top for most medals as well as most golds if you're talking about the Olympics the conversation for "best" starts with him imo.

A few other athletes I could see a case being made being higher than Biles from the Olympic pool specifically. Mark Spitz, Carl Lewis, Jenny Thompson, Matt Biondi, & Allyson Felix.

Also I see their list isn't US only, to have Simone as the highest ranked Gymnasts is kind of crazy. Larisa Latynina holds the record for the most Olympic gold medals by a gymnast, male or female, with 9. Her total of 18 Olympic medals was a record for 48 years. She held the record for individual event medals for over 52 years, winning 14.

4 of top 12 Athletes in last 25 years are Tennis player.

#2 Serena
#6 Roger Federer
#11 Novak Djokovic
#12 Rafael Nadal
Don't understand how Djokovic is behind Federer and Serena. He's the GOAT of men's tennis now. If they're going to rank a tennis player that high he should be No. 2. He's got more majors than Serena already and is still playing. He also racked up most of his majors while competing head-to-head with Federer and Nadal, who are generational talents themselves and would be considered the GOAT if they weren't all three playing at the same time.

Are you talking about the list of this century? That means it’s just since 2000. Which is why some of those names are left off
