Maybe the first one is some generic version and the second is supposed to be Heupel. Of course since CJH adds wrinkles every week...

Must be pretty interesting to look at, though.
The first one is the play style I set as my “created coach” on dynasty. Then the playbook I use is the Tennessee - veer & shoot

Who are the 2 vets that you work with? I went to UTCVM as well. Graduated 2001. As your daughter makes her way through school, if she ever needs to get more large animal/equine hours and experience, or when she gets into vet school if she wants to do an externship with us, let me know. We would be happy to have her come down. We are in Newnan, GA just south of ATL. It’s about 4:15 drive or so.
That sounds great, still a long way to go. I'm sure she'll need the experience. That's awesome.

The vet we work with is Dr Ethan Myers, the other is Dr Pruitt. They are both Currently at Maury County Veterinary hospital.

Again, that's so kind of you!

Holy wa! @VolsDoc81TX liking a same day post within a few hours?! Crazy times we’re living in, crazy times.
When we were on a canoe trip in Canada, I caught a 38” pike about a foot offshore. I was just watching the movement of the slab that I was using, just moving it back and forth between casts. The shoreline dropped off dramatically so it wasn’t shallow. The pike hit so fast and violently that it scared the crap out of me. It was truly impressive. I pulled it out and called my son for a picture. Right then, one of the other Dads caught a 48” pike that was a monster. I just released mine. 😂

It’s in Vacherie, LA. Gorgeous place. There’s a lot of old, old live oaks in Louisiana.
@BaldBiker planted them. He lost a bet to @InVOLuntary .

The bet was an over/under on how many Tennesseans would Volunteer to fight the Mexicans and free Texas. The line was 25,000. @InVOLuntary bet over. He won.

And here we are:

Intolerance is the first sign of an inadequate education. An ill-educated person behaves with arrogant impatience, whereas truly profound education breeds humility.

To me, this describes the vandy grad versus the Tennessee grad.
You could substitute texas for vandy and it would still hold true.
Both of those schools have so much in common in regards to overinflated self worth…😡

It's weird to think about. . . also, I called it dialogue, but it's monologue.

That is completely different from what I was talking about. I only listened to a little when she made this clear. She is referring to what, in fact, is "internal monologue" (or unspoken language) as "no internal monologue." So she does have "internal monologue" or "voice" or unspoken language. And that is what I was saying was necessary to thinking.

She is somehow mislabeling "internal monologue" as a "constant voice" that "never stops."

I have a friend who swears he doesn't picture anything in his mind when he reads. Which to me is weird because he likes to read.

I had a workshop one year on that. Kids who have a lot of trouble with comprehension don't make mental images as they read.

I am on the opposite side of the spectrum. If i'm getting fast food and I hear a total I picture it mentally in my head to remember it. Or if I meet someone new, I ask them how to spell their name so I can picture it.

A buddy of mine was fishing off a rock a few feet into a river. Nearly had his trout landed. A moccasin blasted out from under the rock and took the trout off his line. He jumped about 47 feet up and back. Pretty sure he peed his pants.
😮 I would walk my wet pants back to my vehicle and drive home. 😂 OTOH, great story!

...
I see a lot of intolerant people graduating from Universities these days. Hell didn't safe spaces, free speech "zones", critical race theory and cancel culture spread from universities? I also see a lot of blue-collar salt of the earth that exhibit a "you do you, just don't mess with mine" attitude as well.

Should we call the above quote BS or use it to critique today's education environments?

Canada? I expected all this Pike Speak to be from Colorado.
