I have a friend who swears he doesn't picture anything in his mind when he reads. Which to me is weird because he likes to read.

I had a workshop one year on that. Kids who have a lot of trouble with comprehension don't make mental images as they read.

I am on the opposite side of the spectrum. If i'm getting fast food and I hear a total I picture it mentally in my head to remember it. Or if I meet someone new, I ask them how to spell their name so I can picture it.
I hadn’t even thought about this til recently. I just assumed everyone could see mental images in their head like that, just like I always assumed a light in the night looked like a star to everyone (astigmatism). My daughter mentioned recently that she can’t see mental images and it blew my mind.

I see a lot of intolerant people graduating from Universities these days. Hell didn't safe spaces, free speech "zones", critical race theory and cancel culture spread from universities? I also see a lot of blue-collar salt of the earth that exhibit a "you do you, just don't mess with mine" attitude as well.

Should we call the above quote BS or use it to critique today's education environments?
I say it’s an indictment on todays society in general. One can be “educated”, while still being ignorant. That education from certain universities absolutely gives some folks a false sense of superiority.

This must assume Seldon and Lewis don’t return healthy?
They are just two question marks. We've seen Small struggle with his shoulder. Just no experience beyond Sampson.

DB I like our athleticism back there and there's actually way more experience on the back end and I'm excited about how much our secondary improves without the stiffs.

Yup.

I'm also weirded out when people say they see pure darkness when they shut their eyes. I, not always, but often see light visuals that float and are very interesting.

Nice! We don't spend a ton of time in Black Mountain, but I always remember My Father's Pizza being really good.

Couple nice breweries there too like Pisgah. Nice music venue too
jinx

The backdoor outside area at Pisgah is as nice as Ive seen. Love that it. Saw Darkstar Orchestra there. What a good vibe. No hateful, angry people.

Strangely everyone else was really into the music, I mean like reaallly into the music.😜

Yeah I can imagine. DSO loves the area and vice versa.

Definitely always good vibes there. The whole setup is like a mini festival setup in itself. Rabbit Rabbit is great too, but I like the outdoorsy feel of Pisgah
