Agree, it's not even close to any sort of upset for either team. Vegas is saying we're 2 even teams. But we have Neyland.

People overreacted to losing to UF calling for 6-6. And after 1 game have swung to the opposite end. I don't get it. Tamu lost to Alabama by all of 6 pts. Tough game. Neyland has to take this into our own hands and be the x-factor.

You don't get to claim that you are pointing out reality when you conveniently ignored that we got our Senior starting center back (which rearranged out OL to their normal spots) while trashing the OL as terrible. You also don't get to claim to be analyzing matchups while doing stuff like that.

So, it's not that you are somehow realistic and we hate that. It's that you look for reasons for the sky to fall, make fear some sort of virtue, and then get called out for it.

OL against their DL is still a huge unknown, and I still don't see it being any better than a stalemate. I already said I was wrong about the OL being what it was against AP and UF. I hope you're right and we run all over them and stonewall the pass rush....but I don't see it. I think that if we win, it will be a butt ugly 19-18 kind of game.

Once again with the insults.

Their offensive line is their glaring weakness. That's a good matchup for us. Get to the QB and shut down the run game. Johnson is not as good a scrambler as Rattler. If Jimbo is smart he will have their offense do what Florida did with short passes.

Their defense is another story. Thank goodness we got Cooper Mays back in the lineup. I think it will be tough to run on them so Joe and the WRs will have to connect and step up. YAC will be important.

I think A&M and the Vols have the two most dynamic returners in not only the league but country. Got to shut theirs down and win that battle.

TLDR: I think we can stifle them offensively, but I think our offense will have to operate mostly through the air.

TAMU has allowed 65 rushing yards...in the last 2 games...combined...

Vs #1 SEC rushing attack...

Tamu just came off a slugfest at home in their biggest game of the season.

Now they have to travel into a hostile atmosohere of a team that really wants this.

Our crowd will be huge. A fast start would help. Gotta keep them hyped. And they need to keep the players hyped. 2 way street.

I don't see a single insult in there, UEM. To me, that's what adult discourse looks like--calling pig's ear comments and attitudes for what they are. It's not like I called you an idiot, or an ***hole.

But since you mention it, you are the one that drops posts about folks that disagree with you:

You claimed people hated you for being realistic. (You also inferred, by the way, that those who disagree with you are delusional. lol) I reassured you that no one hates you, and then gave my thoughts on how realistic you've actually been.

It wasn't insults. It was answering the points you were trying to make.

You're not a victim. We're not victimizing or hating you or abusing you, or even insulting you.

UF was a BAD loss and you forget the AP game preceding was an ugly win...how do you shake the knowledge that this team can play down to that level?

I get that the OL is better...but how much better? Is the defense going to have another game like that where assignments are blown and tackles are missed? Are the WRs actually going to catch 1st down and TD passes instead of dropping them? Is Joe going to be accurate in diagnosing and executing wide open plays...is he going to complete 3rd down, move the chain passes?

All those doubts are ingrained thanks to AP and UF....you know this team has garbage performance like that in them, and it will take more than beating the crap out of USC to remove those doubts.
