I find that impossible to believe (it’s just way too high), particularly when someone showed yesterday or earlier today that only about 60% of the money was on A&M.

It’s not 98%. He’s wrong. 62% of the bet is on TN. Not sure where that absurd number of 98% would come from.

Why are you bringing up LSU? They're not a rival to BAMA. Miss State is more legit rival than LSU. There's bad blood there because of Saban and it's been a good series because of him but LSU-BAMA is not a traditional rivalry. It's like people trying to say Tennessee and Georgia are traditional rivals when we never have been. Rivals in the sense that we play regularly but not in the true sense of the word.
You can look at some press reports of what was expected and what Saban objected to.



Everything I read had AL playing Tennessee, LSU, Auburn. And the stories I read about Saban's objection were based on those three rivals.

If Saban nixes two of his rivals, then every team in the SEC has to nix two rivals. 66% of all SEC rival games end.
