The time announcements are made either 6 or 12 days before kickoff. The networks still set the game times for most games.

I know that. My question was more so…what time slot is the game of the week most likely to be in? Like for example…the top game the past 20 or so years was always 3:30 because of CBS. Does ESPN/ABC normally just the prime time slot?

Some guys make more if they want to do a lot of pee wee stuff. I usually just average one varsity game and one subvarsity game a week which averages about $200/week.

Whatever happens this weekend or the rest of the season, I'm going to enjoy being the talk of college football again. It's been way too long.

That said, I know that all of these media personalities fluffing us, talking about how great we are, talking about how we're going to run Oklahoma, they'll turn on us the moment we stumble. Just like Kirk Herbstreit did in 2022 after we lost to South Carolina and he went on TV spouting off about Tennessee's "culture." They're frontrunners and they'll praise anyone who's winning.

At the end of the day, it's still the Vols vs. the world. I know where I stand, though!

Man, our varsity is 150, and Mondays or Thursday are always 2 shorter games, 190 on Mondays, 160 on Thursdays. The guys who do peewee Saturdays too make like 750 a week.

I'm going to go thank our association leaders, I didn't realize we got paid so well.
