Virginia Tech got shafted by the refs so many times in this game. What an atrocious display by the ACC. They preserved their golden team and used the entire broadcast to promote their Heisman hopeful, glossing over his 3 turnovers that should've cost them the game.

They didn’t even need to review that…could have gone straight to the mic and made the call that it was overturned and incomplete. There was never going to be any other call in that situation.

50/50 catch goes to offense. No video evidence to overturn. Call should've stood even though I don't think he had firm possession.

The phantom hold on that big run earlier in the game was probably biggest wronging. VT would've either scored or been down at the 2 yd line, instead got backed up.

I guess indisputable doesn't really mean indisputable.

It doesn't. It's always a judgement call by officials, who are not above showing bias. Do I think it was a TD? No. But it was called as such on the field and not one angle provided enough evidence to conclusively overturn the call. VT got hosed.

Crazy ending. I felt like that was one of those inconclusive calls that all depended on the original call. Receiver has to be more aggressive hanging onto the ball though. Just imagine if that were an ending to a playoff game.

VT coach has nobody to blame but himself ultimately. His inept clock management and his fake FG blunder were the difference.
