Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Question because I'm ignorant of how some stats are tallied. If there is a designed QB run play and the QB is tackled behind the line of scrimmage, is it a TFL or a sack?

Just an update, at my heaviest about two weeks ago I was 301 pounds. Weighed myself this evening and I'm 286. At 6'3" of like to get to 250-255. Still a ways to go.

I've changed diet. Cut out some carbs and show myself 1 diet Coke a day. Watching portions. Do far so good. At 48 I was surprised how ready it was. I know it will soon get harder.
Try intermittent fasting. I've lost 35 pounds cutting out breakfast and lunch and eating dinner alone. It allows me to eat whatever I want and get full, it's sustainable and I feel so much better.

I hope they unleash Nico.
Yeah....I understand why we have attacked and managed as we have so far...but we are gonna need a lot more points this week...Heup+Halzle need to scheme up some explosive passing this week for sure.

My only real concern is our offense bogging down because Arky sells out to stop the run and the passing game getting discombobulated and not taking advantage.

We need Nico to not be a freshman this weekend...he needs to diagnose quickly and throw it accurately.

He is great...but he left points on the field against Okie...but I give credit to Bent Vegetables for confusing him just enough to muck it up a little

Unfortunately for ar-Kansas, they score by rushing…that’s the absolute strength of our defense. Little pigs will be herded, corralled, slaughtered and BBQed by the 4th quarter.
If they can’t pass, it’s gonna be a long brutal game for them. 😁
Pittman himself says that that QB has a confidence problem. That will only get worse against our defense.

He has a 54% completion % and a 63 QBR.

He is uncomfortable in the pocket, can't throw as well in the pocket, and breaks to run before moving through his progressions.

When he breaks from the pocket, he generally moves to his right-- where Pierce will be waiting to silence all of the "Why hasn't Pierce gotten any sacks?" questions.

We are NOT a good matchup for them. Even the ARKy fans and media are admitting this. From what I see, they're just hoping it ends respectably for them

You want to really switch it up. Switch to lunch only for a couple of weeks.

Don't eat alone if you don't have to. If people are trying to keep you from eating whatever you want, find new people.

Sounds horrible...... But I'm committed..... I'll give it a try. Want to ease myself into this some. I've been serious about it for around a week. Just cutting out cokes some I think was a big part of the 15# loss.

I know it will get harder from here, want to take it slow and actually wait until I get to the point where the weight is a little tougher to shed. So I can gauge how I'm dealing with the frustrations and stress.

I've lost 40 lbs since April. Finally under 200 lbs. I've mixed in running 4x a week and lifting with dumbbells 3x a week. I've also paid more attention to calorie intake.

Funny thing is every time I hit a plateau in weight loss, my mile time has gone down. I started at an abysmal 11:40 mile and I'm at a 8:25 mile now.
